## What is Power Pie?

Power calculations made easy!

As with all our Apps this App provides the underlying maths and theory behind the calculations together with worked examples. This will allow you to not just get an answer, but more more importantly, to understand how the answer was derived.

Power Pie is written in manner to allow you to undertake power related calculations with ease. The following three features, both three phase and single phase, are available within the App:

Power Calculator:

Upon entering a load’s Voltage, Current, and Power Factor (if applicable), the app calculates the respective True Power kW, Apparent Power kVA, and Reactive Power kVAr.

Amps Calculator:

Upon entering either a True Power kW, Apparent Power kVA, or Reactive Power kVAr, together with Voltage and Power Factor (if applicable), the app calculates the respective line or phase current.

kW to kVA Converter:

Upon entering a True Power kW or Apparent Power kVA, together with a Power Factor, the app calculates the corresponding True Power kW, or Apparent Power kVA.
