Two things that would make it even better would be adding a search feature to search for assignments or events that are already on my calendar, and also adding an option to repeat annually. This app definitely caters to those in school or with a busy schedule. Im in school and have 2 jobs. I add my jobs as a class on the app and it's made managing my schedule so much easier. I swear this app is solely keeping my life together. I've tried other planner apps as well over the years and always end up coming back to Power Planner. Being able to access the app on your different devices is great. There's a ton of helpful features but the UI also stays simple and digestible. The developers have done a wonderful job! My only request is allowing the user to customize the color of the app's user interface. The all in one planner! *2025-12-20, version 2508.8.4* No other planner like this one. It can help you estimate grades/GPA in class (which for an overachiever like me is necessary lol). You can track across multiple years of school, semesters, etc. And it adds events and assignments to your google calendar automatically. I bought this app back when I first started university, and am planning on using it in medical school as well. Gotta give Powerplanner some credit for my achievements thus far!! Amazing app!! ### 2/5 — Keeps Logging me Out *2025-09-14, version 2508.8.4* I used power planner for two or three years now, and it worked amazing. Having my school assignments synced between my phone and laptop is great, and I love the design of everything and small details like the little happy bell noise when you mark an assignment as completed. However, lately the app keeps repeatedly logging me out. Then it tells me my username isn’t real. I have to click on forgot username every time for it to register my username as “real” again. No ads too. ### 5/5 — My fav planner app for college *2025-08-28, version 2508.8.4* after years of trying different (free cuz i'm broke) apps, is definitely my favorite by a long shot. the free version is completely useable as is, and the paid version is only $5 for lifetime use across all devices, and includes a rlly useful "what if" mode that predicts what grades you need on each assignment to get a specific overall score. it's got everything i wanted and nothing more, it's even got homescreen widgets! i rarely write reviews but i had to for this one bc it's so goated. the only thing id recommend is being able to drag grades into different grade categories, instead of manually selecting each one which can get tedious. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Gave it a try, but unusable. *2026-08-16, version 2608.13.93* I downloaded on two Macs and couldn’t even get through the process of adding my schedule without having to force close in Activity Monitor many times. However, I feel really disappointment that the app always crashed instantly after running it. I would have HAPPILY paid for premium, but without the notifications its not worth it to use the app. I saw that there are email notifications, but if I wanted that I would use Todoist, which I tried. It offers many unique features like customizing class color schemes, organizing your lists into tasks/events/holidays. And is completely flexible to a busy schedule. It is student-friendly with many ways to keep track of tasks (calendar, agenda, etc). Plus, customer service is fantastic. If there are glitches, they are quick to fix them!
