However, we NEED the gameplay to feel more balanced, let’s use Psycho Red as an example, he’s a LEGENDARY character but is USELESS if you pit him against someone like Steel Silva, or Katie Walker. Armor is also ESSENTIAL for certain characters in order to dodge super moves like Leo Corbett for example, he has a one hit super move that is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to doge without some kind of armor or some other move. I have been playing this game since it launched and as time went on the balancing got worse and worse to the point that it’s not fun to fight new characters. There’s dang near no balancing put in place to ensure it’s not just pay to win. ### 4/5 — … *2026-08-04, version 3.8.7* Look I love y’all’s game but why did y’all nerf turbo blue while steel Silva is still OP it doesn’t make sense if you nerfed turbo blue then nerf steel Silva then. ### 2/5 — Warning to returning players *2026-08-01, version 3.8.7* So I came back after not playing it for years my account was originally linked but it started me off on a new account and wouldn’t let me retrieve my old account contacted support for help provided receipts from purchases of my old account but said without my player ID number they cannot restore my account which in my opinion is very poor So having to start a new user experience again the game can be very frustrating so many characters now with special abilities and to be able to constantly attack while you are unable to do anything can be annoying but it’s a decent game to jump in and out of ### 2/5 — Kinda fun but horrible balancing *2026-07-31, version 3.8.7* The game itself is pretty fun, until you start going up against whales and people that spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on paid rangers. The game is designed to be a cash grab and prey on your impatience waiting for morph boxes to unlock which give you ranger cards (not rangers) which you need to get 10 of to unlock 1 ranger, unfortunately the Morph boxes only give you 1-2 cards at a time and take 3-24 hours to unlock unless you pay $50 to speed it up. The battles are fun in the beginning but once you start going up against whales with full teams of paid rangers there’s not much you can do except wait to lose because they have seemingly infinite blocks and attacks making it lucky for you to even land 1 or 2 hits and the damage they do is monumental compared to your hits. Overall the battle system is fun but the balancing is absolutely terrible so you’ll be outmatched quite a bit unless you whip out your wallet and buy better rangers, unless you’re patient enough to wait months to get them. There are MANY characters, but sometimes I feel as if it’s futile; I fight, try to get new STRONGER characters…but the progression is very slow, and sometimes it feels as if I’m not getting anywhere. And mainly I fight rangers FAR more stronger than mine…like pay to win ones, and it becomes repetitive. Plus megazord mode is full of camper rats who wait for you to input so they can know how to counter then wait for you to put in another input so they could counter it with rats. On top of that, when you do go against them, you’re just standing there for the majority of the fight because: a) their attacks always come first despite pressing it at the same time, b) they’re spamming (and for some reason, they’re somehow stringing attacks that seem impossible to have with 10 energy), or c) literally every attack that hits you stuns you or leaves you in a stun lock animation with no room for you to do anything. Don’t waste your time. There are better games. ### 1/5 — P2W Game *2026-08-14, version 3.8.8* Legacy Wars is fun, but the P2W progression is getting ridiculous. You basically cannot earn crystals normally without either paying or going through the offer wall. And the offer wall makes you play completely unrelated App Store games and complete extremely tedious tasks, with some rewards requiring months of grinding just to get a decent amount of crystals. The chance boxes aren’t much better either. They advertise “1–10 shards,” but 1 shard is obviously the common result, making the higher amounts feel almost pointless to chase. The actual combat is fun, but progression feels less about skill and more about how much you’re willing to pay or how much time you’re willing to waste.
