Everyday has been consistently motivational. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because copy/paste text is turned off and instead replaced by a much less efficient "Quoto" feature which only allows 2-3 sentences to be quoted. I like to send devotionals to my bible study group and with this app I have to type it out word for word instead. ### 5/5 — Northern grandma *2015-01-27* Great app I use it every day but the quoto part does not work right. It would be nice if it said that. $4.99 to buy after trial. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Purchased version doesn't work *2014-11-18* I purchased this after the 7 day free trial but still am getting the message that my free trial is over and am not able to view any dates beyond that period. Reconsider if you are thinking of buying this. I've contacted the developer and will update my review if they respond and fix this problem. UPDATE: Received a response from the developer but suggestions to fix the problem (restore purchases and re-download) were things I already tried before contacting them so the issue is still not resolved. Fortunately I was able to get a refund from iTunes through the "report a problem" link in the email I received confirming my purchase. Hoping a near future update will address this problem. ### 1/5 — Doesn't Work After Purchase *2014-06-21, version 1.2* The app didn't work after purchase. I contacted the developer to troubleshoot and still no resolve. ### 2/5 — Good Until Nov. 28th message *2015-11-28* I was really enjoying this app until November 28, which used the scripture Luke 12:19. That scripture is part of a parable that Jesus told about what NOT to do. The man in the parable was condemned, in fact put to death for saying those words in Luke 12:19, which is a quote that was taken out of context by this Power Thoughts app. I'm glad I decided to read the whole passage for myself this time. But now I have to delete this app because I don't want to be misguided. ### 2/5 — Doesn't work *2014-11-23, version 1.3* I enjoyed it, when I first had it for seven days. (Only giving it two stars because it doesn't work)I found myself constantly going back to it. I read the reviews that said it didn't work once bought, but after two weeks I decided to try and buy it. I bought it and it doesn't work, it still says I need to buy it.Either I get a refund or it needs to be fixed... ### 2/5 — Seven day trial *2014-03-23, version 1.2* This app is a 7 day trial of the devotional book. After that, you may purchase for $4.99. ### 3/5 — Concerned *2014-11-17* I was just about to purchase this. I enjoyed the demo. But if the other reviewer above states that it doesn't work after purchasing, and there's no response from the developer, I"m going to skip buying it. Plus, I was honestly peeved that a "free" app never disclosed up front that it only worked for a week before it asked you to buy. That should have been disclosed in H2 font up front. That being said, I have the book and wanted to buy this for convenience when out and about. I think that Joyce Meyer's messages are very good and helpful. If the above reviewers support issue is resolved, I'll consider purchasing. Until then, back to the paper version. ### 3/5 — Like it but... *2014-03-23* I have been trying to find a devotional and when I downloaded this one it was definitely the one, but nothing told me it was a trial. I wish getting to know the word of God didn't cost money especially when all the devotions I was reading seemed to have a lot to do with my life. I read it with my teen kids daily in the car on the way to work. Then we additionally read the chapter of the Bible which is referenced.
