Taking one-tap naps since 2011. I designed the PowerNap alarm clock specifically to let you take a short, stress-free, and rejuvenating nap. While waiting in the VIP lounge at the airport, you don't want to accidentally have the wrong AM or PM setting, so PowerNap limits your times from between 10 and 25 minutes and shows the calculated wake-up time. It's great while waiting for class, while waiting for a plane, or while just resting your eyes before the next big thing. PowerNap lets you catch 40 winks anywhere. Simple and useful! Just slide the bar to what ever length of time (under an hour) and nap away nappers ### 1/5 — A good idea *2010-04-28* I wanted a simple timer and this program seemed ideal. However, it doesn't work beyond Leaving your iPad ON. It will not work when the iPad is off even if the program is active. A few other issues... You cannot select your own pictures for backgrounds, the background compresses in landscape mode. The silent mode behaves wonky (does not stop using silent mode when you turn it off sometimes, producing no alarm). All-in-all I feel more like I paid to test the app than I got a solid program for my money. ### 2/5 — Not quite as good as *2010-03-22* I had powernap on the palm pre and loved it. But this iPhone ver needs work. One issue..if u turn off the phone powernap will not wake the phone with the alarm. As when u receive a call and your device comes to life. Powernap should have this ability to wake the device with the alarm. It does not. ### 5/5 — Awesomely useful *2009-06-27* This is like the speed dial for napping! It' fast and the alarm sound is a perfect choice. It's like a high pitch beep, but not too annoying and not so intrusive that people very far away will hear. The new silent mode is also appreciated. And the developer will answer your emails too. Slide the icon, push the icon slowly, tap the icon, sneak up on the icon. They are work sometimes but none work consistently. The alarm works great though, saved me from missing my train stop every week! ### 4/5 — I love Power Nap! *2009-01-09* I am so pleased with the Power Nap application. I needed an "alarm" that I could trust to wake me up after a night with little sleep using vibrate and headphones, and this application does exactly that. If you are like me and frequently substitute your lunch break for a nap, this application does allow you to set the alarm for up to an hour, and then provides the capability to wake you using sound either through the speaker OR through the headphones PLUS gives the option of turning vibrate on or off. I searched high and low for these features, and this was the only application I found that fit the bill. I would appreciate the capability for set the alarm for more than one hour at a time but am very pleased overall with the application. Great app! ### 4/5 — Sliding Timer Takes Patience to Set *2008-12-08* This is A LOT better than the built-in alarm for a quick nap - it's a lot faster to setup when you only have a few minutes to steal a quick nap. I use this app all the time and love it. One minor difficulty I experience is in sliding the timer. It seems a bit unresponsive at times. I'd also LOVE to be able to customize the screen (just being able to change the color would be appreciated) ### 4/5 — Volume settings ?? *2008-09-30* Very nice app.I was not able to feel the vibrate. I have a touch pad. It would be nice to have an alarm volume setting and have a choice of different colors for the background. Can I set the alarm,then do other apps while the alarm is counting down.
