Absolutely useless, and we are in June 2022. ### 1/5 — Poor *2022-05-25, version 3.2.2* Downloaded the app per instruction from my league, only option is to sign in, no option to signup and no direction provided. Very silly. ### 1/5 — Power is out !! *2021-06-30, version 3.1.9* My son is a referee, games are not being updated . ex: game changed or cancelled is not showing in PowerUp but has to sent to him as an email. My daughter plays and I am still unable to access her schedule. When I try to remove or re add her it says player already exists yet I can’t access anything. Even just trying to go to the webpage to sign in is a nightmare. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Creating a new password and it still not working🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Push notifications not working *2025-10-26, version 4.2.2* I have turned on push notifications, but I never got any notifications, which makes this app useless. I have to open the app multiple times a day manually to check if there’re update from the team regarding schedule or messages, and sometimes I have to tap the refresh button to see updated messages. Ours here in Calgary says they start using it after the first week of play. No added value. *2022-11-06, version 3.4.4* As a parent, this app doesn’t provide any additional value. Not sure why the club has decided to switch to it and is forcing us to use it. Looking at the quality, I guess that it’s cheap. The UI/UX needs a serious overhaul. The app looks like an old joomla site from the early 2000s ported to a mobile version. Weird UI glitches happening with the sidebar on IOS (shaking up and down when toggled). Even a simple sms group chat has more functionalities than this app’s chat. Not possible to edit player’s profile in app. Not possible for parents to see events’ attendance. Not possible to delete player. Events edited in the web portal by the team manager take forever to sync in the app. Displays socket error in chat when the app is focused again after having run in the background. Very unintuitive navigation through the few available “features”. The last update’s release notes say it’s now possible to add a player’s photo. That option is probably buried somewhere in the depths of this atrocity because it’s unfindable. Overall horrible experience. ### 1/5 — Frustrating to use *2022-11-05, version 3.4.4* PowerUp is very frustrating to use. It doesn’t show information up front, doesn’t engage players or parents and makes it hard to get to the views you need. Allows me to view schedule on the fly through my phone:) ### 4/5 — Lots of Improvements *2019-05-21, version 3.0.6* Happy to say that PowerUp is looking pretty good now. I’m a user through my kids’ soccer league. The League uses PowerUp and in past years we’d use Team Snap for our own team, causing more work for the Manager by needing to input all games, practices etc into Team Snap, but getting better functionality for the effort. No more. PowerUp offers what we need (other than managing the snack schedule) and as it is run by the League we no longer need to ensure we capture everything in Team Snap. It even allows you to upload schedules on your personal calendar and if you download the App you get to see all your family’s upcoming events on the first page. Always room for improvement, but good for 4 stars. I encourage people to spend 30 minutes navigating it before complaining. And customer service is also great and feels very personal. ### 3/5 — Use to be amazing *2026-01-13, version 4.2.2* Before when I first got this app I could see my teammates names and coach too but now it suck I will rate it a 3 but it use to be much more efficient for soccer ### 2/5 — Sucks *2026-07-21, version 4.4.2* As soon as the day is done all games and practices are deleted from previous days. So if a game is rescheduled you can’t go back to look. The app takes a week to load and often signs you out. I would not recommend using this app for your sports team. Registered and payed for several sessions for my grandson and just paid in full his spring session for skill center. When I went back into the app to check which team he is on and practice and game info it won’t let me now. It says my email and my credentials don’t exist. I receive emails from the club but lost access to power up. My contact information and credit card information is in that app. Why all of a sudden won’t it accept my credentials ?
