This app lacks ability to manage logs on phone: no utility to move/ opt logs to cloud or PowerCore. Also does not give you an option to NOT zip the logs. Also does not allow you to select a shared folder as the target for the logs. You are also limited to sending 1 log file at a time. This is not geared for a serious street tuner. ### 1/5 — $800 paper weight *2025-07-19* EDIT - I’ve heard back from dynojet who explained that the power vision 4 is a professional tuning tool and that flashing a pre-configured tune is not "tuning" the bike. My mistake. Had I realised this I would have spent the $800 on a dynamometer session and let the operator deal with the tuning issues. Unfortunately I live around 250 km from dyno services. Far from ideal. The dynojet rep kindly offered me a different tune map which appears to have solved the deceleration popping, banging, and off idle stumbling the first map induced. Midrange performance is back similar to stock, but certainly no better. Top end performance is dull compared to my 98 Sportster 1200S, which will run circles around my Softail with a 550 cc bigger engine. I stand by my one star review and hope this helps others decide whether to spend a ton of money on a dynojet PV4 and take your chances on a lucky dip, or give the money to a man with a dynamometer and let him deal with EFI tuning. I should have chosen the man with the dyno. Going forward I need to find out if it’s possible to factory reset the PV4 so I can sell it to recoup wasted $$$. This has been a learning experience for me. I’m not a gambler but I took a chance on this, with massive disappointment and frustration being the payout. End edit. *Original review - I rode 18000+ km on a stock Harley and am very aware of how it performs. Added slipon mufflers without any tuning and noticed a slight improvement in performance. Now have 20000km. Decided to do a full stage 1 by adding a high flow air cleaner and this frustrating PV4 device. Air cleaner install was simple and easy. First time booting up the PV4 all I got was error messages. Some time later after rebooting and resetting Bluetooth etc I finally got an error free connection. Flash the specific map (there is only 1) and go for a ride. Seat of the pants dyno tells me 2000 - 3000 rpm feels flat and lifeless now. This is the rev range I spend 99% of riding time. Great, spend around $200 AU on an air cleaner kit, and nearly $800 AU for this dynojet paperweight that has made my bike run worse. Yes I have reached out to dynojet for help but as yet I have not heard back. $50 worth of jets/needles, and an hour to install was all it took to do stage one carb tuning on my previous Harleys, always with positive outcomes. $800 (16 times the price) and a couple of hours frustration with this dynojet thing has resulted in a bike that runs worse, and instead of nice burbling when decelerating I now get random pops and bangs. Right now I need to go back to stock tune and reinstall the stock air box and filter to get my original Better performance back, at least until I hopefully hear back from dynojet. Not holding my breath though. Absolutely would Not recommend.
