### 5/5 — A fun way to track activity

*2026-09-30, version 1.15*

Provides the perfect amount of engagement for a watch app with surprising depth if you decide to commit.

I especially appreciate the large watch complication.

It’s a small price to pay for something someone clearly put a lot of thought and care into.

### 5/5 — Cool

*2026-09-29, version 1.15*

Love it

### 1/5 — It’s annoying

*2026-09-25, version 1.14*

They die when I have my watch off because it needs charging I can’t just have my watch on 24/7 cuz it kills the battery if I have it on without charging it

### 4/5 — Great app, but 2.0 update Health permissions need an in-app fix

*2026-09-23, version 1.14*

If your Nomi stops tracking steps after update 2.0, you likely missed the Health permission prompt. Since there’s no option in the app to re-enable it, your Nomi will lose health unless you fix it manually.

Fix: Go to iPhone Health App > Profile icon > Apps.
You will likely see two Nomi apps listed (the old version and the 2.0 version). Tap the new Nomi app and select Turn On All.

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2026-07-01, version 1.13*

It is very interesting APP, Could we get more futures or updates for it?

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2026-06-06, version 1.13*

My favourite app! Have managed to keep my pet alive for over 1100 days! It keeps me moving, I have alarms set to move and feed him. It’s a great fun app, thoroughly recommend.

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-05-06, version 1.13*

Really great, nostalgic if you ever had the digivice or tamagachi

### 3/5 — Sad

*2026-05-02, version 1.13*

As much as I kind of enjoyed, I'm over 60 and not able to meet the steps goal. I walk more than 8,000 steps daily and stairs but it doesn't chime with the needs of NOMI.

### 3/5 — Amazing except one thing!

*2025-12-22, version 1.13*

This app is awesome, it checks off all my boxes for what I want in a work out pet. HOWEVER, I would love if there was an option to put it to sleep manually for however long you want. There are some days I’m not wearing my watch or not active because it’s my rest day, and those days my pet dies! Please add a feature to fix this because otherwise I’m not sure how to keep it alive during the days I don’t wear my watch or be as active.

### 4/5 — Absolutely love this

*2025-12-12, version 1.13*

I love this app and use it quite regularly! Everything’s pretty great. I do agree with other users about wanting to be able to collect hearts earned during workouts where pausing to feed isn’t always easy to do. Another thing is it would be awesome to have games available for those of us who are not able to get our heart rates up to 125 but who CAN work out for long durations of time to compensate for that. I am on a beta blocker that blocks my heart rate from going too high and I’m unable to play the games to load up on hearts to use later on. Either way though, I do enjoy this and will keep using the app. Thank you for bringing a little joy to my day! :)

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-11-05

- Watch face stays in sync: the face now shows Poyo's latest look, name and mood, and no longer shows Poyo dead or sad when it's fine.
- Poyo only eats on its own to stay alive: if you haven't opened the app since Poyo woke up, it eats a heart only at the moment it would otherwise die. That needs a full ring, and the ring then starts filling again from empty.
- No more false Health warning: the "Health off" message no longer appears when Health access is already on.

### 2.0 — 2026-11-04

We have a new name! Say hello to Poyo. Your pet, its progress and your friends list carry over exactly as they were.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-20

Sushi saves Nomi: the instant the last heart runs out, a Small Sushi you've banked is used automatically (a Large only if you have no Small), at any time of day.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-12

Watch face fixed: the complication no longer gets stuck showing an old Nomi, and the ring shows a clean progress bar.
Friends fixed: clear errors when adding, no more false "friend not found", and your list can't be wiped by a bad signal.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-07
