### 3/5 — Test question bank limited

*2022-09-01*

It’s helpful app to learn about the FAA written test, however the number of questions in the bank of questions are very limited. I have taken the practice tests a few times and several of the same questions keep showing up.

Additionally, a question in the app that reference a chart or graph doesn’t have the accompanying info (chart/graph) needed to answer the question.

### 3/5 — Good, but too repetitive

*2022-02-15, version 1.4*

Really enjoy using this app for my PPL studying. It helps a lot to be able to do mock exams whenever you have some time on your phone.

I have paid for all the exams but have unfortunately found that it repeats the same questions in pretty much all of them.

It’s a shame as it is otherwise a really good app. I’ve used it combined with PPL tutor and other similar apps to make sure I get a variety of questions.

Apart from that I would highly recommend!

### 2/5 — Keeps repeating the same questions

*2019-08-17, version 1.3.1*

Don’t see how anyone can pass if the same questions are repeated, unless they know what’s going too come up in my exam 😂

### 2/5 — Decent app but numerous wrong answers

*2019-08-07*

As my title says, this app had numerous wrong answers. I paid 1.99 for the paid unlimited version of this app and have been using it as a supplement for studying. I also have a Gleim textbook through my ground school as well a ground lessons through my part 141 school. An example is the FAA requirement for repacking of parachutes. The app gave an answer of 120 days but that's not correct. If synthetic fibers, it's 180 days and if natural, 60 days. I had been assuming this app was correct until I came across this question in my gleim book. If I hadn't found the correct answer, I would be incorrectly using the answer from this app as correct. This is just one of numerous examples I found as well as countless typos, questions with repeated answers, and missing figures/charts. Very disappointed

### 4/5 — Decent PPL Written Prep App

*2019-01-24*

Most questions are identical to the ones provided by Gleim (course my school uses) although there are some errors and erroneous questions that I have never seen. Over all it is a decent FREE app, so don’t expect something perfect.

### 2/5 — Good but not free

*2018-07-09, version 1.2.2*

I’ve tried the app and like the format. However please don’t advertise a product to be free as that is simply not the case. Before you criticise other reviewers for complaining that it’s not free maybe check your own description of the app first.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2026-02-14, version 1.4*

When you do a quick test and select an answer, it shows correct or wrong; it then moves automatically to the next question very very quickly , so you don’t have any time to absorb. Very annoying, otherwise good app.

### 1/5 — Too many typos.

*2022-11-11*

Some questions have the same multiple choice answer selection for 2 out of three answer choices. Other questions are completely off like "Vis is what speed" where the question should read Vno, Vfe or Va based on the answer choices. Careless typos.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money.

*2022-04-12, version 1.4*

I master the air law on this. 16 every time because the questions are always the same. It doesn’t help you with a variety of questions. Just read the book

### 1/5 — Has lots of wrong answers

*2021-06-08*

It seems important that the answers would be correct in a test prep app. These developers apparently disagree.

### 1/5 — Spelling mistakes

*2019-12-28, version 1.3.1*

Spelling mistakes and confusing wording on questions, which makes me uncertain of whether the answers are also incorrect.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2019-08-13*

Spontaneously crashes when I try to take any of the exams. Unusable at this time... :(

**Developer response:** Hi there,

We are very sorry about that, we did a new version and we put a bug into it.

Happily, we tackled this quickly and it's fixed in the 1.3.1 version, if you update your app you will be able to enjoy the app again :)

Thanks for your feedback

### 1/5 — Not free?!

*2018-05-31, version 1.2.2*

I understood this app was 100% free. However it has started prompting me to pay to use it per subject. What's the real deal?

### 2/5 — Wrong answers!!!

*2025-06-21, version 1.4*

Be careful because some of the answers are in correct see other reviews to

### 2/5 — Be careful as answers not always right.

*2025-06-01, version 1.4*

Got this app to be able to do questions when I had some time spare when out and about. I’m also using Pooleys and Easy PPL. Did my first test on this app and found I had a wrong answer even though I answered it right. The question asked about converging aircraft, I answered aircraft with right of way must maintain heading and speed I know this is right as revised it. But this app said heading, speed and height was the right answer which is NOT correct. So now I am uncertain of its accuracy after the first try. Be careful.

### 2/5 — Generally good tool but

*2019-10-08, version 1.3.1*

This is generally a good tool, easy to use and convenient, however there are a number of questions where the correct answer is wrong - I’ve come across one on operation procedures and one in Navigation

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2020-12-01, version 1.4*

This is an excellent app, it is helping me get through my ppl exam studying. However there is one or two questions that are actually incorrect and I hope the creator of this app does fix it but apart from that I highly recommended it.

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2019-10-31*

I passed my exams 👌👌 Thank you

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2018-12-24, version 1.2.3*

I was enjoying this app, which states in it’s description “what’s more, everything is free” - then it suddenly comes up telling me I need to purchase each section! I may well choose to purchase at some point, as it seems good, UPDATE - developer contacted me and apologised and has updated the description. On this basis I have amended my review, as I think this is an excellent app and was helpful to me when I was doing my exams, the negative review was only due to the description as free - I actually think it is worth paying for, just wanted the description corrected. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Great app for PPL

*2018-04-25, version 1.2.2*

Great exam practice. Works well and good for stats.

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-12-03, version 1.0.3*

This app does the job perfectly. Easy to use, loads of questions and a very user friendly interface.

### 5/5 — Super great!

*2017-11-17, version 1.0.1*

This is the best app I had so far. It’s just brilliant, it does the job and helped me pass the exams (Air Law and Human performance so far). I recommend it 100%!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2017-11-14, version 1.0.1*

Perfect app! It’s the most completed one I have found in the app store. It’s also super quick and pretty and, most important, it fully supports my iPhone X. Bonus: It’s 100% free.
10/10
