Match alerts built for practical shooters. PractAlert is the fastest way to find practical shooting matches and competitions near you so you can grab a slot the moment registration opens. We aggregate USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, Multigun, PCC, Service Rifle, Match Pistol, Garand, Springfield, Vintage Military, and everything else in between into one searchable list. • Radar — every match within whatever radius you set, sorted by Recently Added or Starting Soon. Filter by discipline, by clubs you follow, or by "near me." • Map — same dataset, plotted with clustered pins. Pinch to zoom into a city; tap a cluster to see every match at the same range. • Watchlist — bookmark matches and get local reminders 24 hours, 2 hours, and 30 minutes before registration opens, plus a louder alarm at the open moment. Stays in sync across your devices when you sign in. • Clubs — search clubs, sort by distance, and follow the ones that matter. The instant a new match gets posted at a club you follow, you get a push notification. • Alerts — a 30-day rolling log of every reminder and push the app has sent you. Accidentally swipe a notification away or miss it in a busy stretch? Open the Alerts tab to find it again and tap straight back to the match or club. CROSS-DEVICE SYNC (OPTIONAL) Sign in with Apple or Google and your watchlist + club follows travel with you. Sign out and the app keeps a local-only watchlist on the device — no account required. WHAT IT COSTS Free, with a small banner ad above the match list. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no upsells. The ad slot keeps the lights on while we work on adding new sources and features. PractAlert is an independent third-party app. Not affiliated with other shooting sites. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 2.0.3 — 2026-08-24 v2.0.3 — Crash fixes + richer sharing: • Fixed the crash that could hit when switching tabs away from Radar, and a related crash when tapping entries in the Alerts tab. • Fixed a rare low-level database crash during background refreshes. • Share a match now includes a picture of the match card, so friends without the app can see the details right in the message. ### 2.0.2 — 2026-08-14 v2.0.2 — Stability + sharing: • Fixed crashes when searching, when following new clubs, and after leaving the app open for a while. • Fixed club alerts going quiet after an app update — new-match notifications reliably reach your lock screen again. • New: Share a match. Tap the share icon on any match and send a practalert.com link by text — it opens straight to the match for anyone with the app, and routes everyone else to the store. ### 2.0.1 — 2026-05-29 v2.0.1 — Reliability fixes: • Boots even on flaky or offline networks. Previously a slow first sync could leave PractAlert stuck on the loading screen; now you land on the radar even before the data has arrived. • Faster startups after the first launch — the match list refreshes are much smaller, so opening the app uses less mobile data and finishes sooner. • Smarter retry when a sync is interrupted, instead of restarting it from scratch. ### 2.0.0 — 2026-05-29 v2.0 — rebuilt from the ground up. If you used PractAlert v1, the new app shares the name but almost nothing else under the hood.
