I had years of issues, special editions etc reliably available on my iPhone and iPad and then they ‘upgraded’ the app for some reason. 

I lost everything going back to 2016 and they’ve been unable to make it available on their new platform despite months of promises. 

Worse, their developer support from the App Store reaches a 404 not found page on their website, and Magazines Direct absolves themselves of any responsibility ‘without your subscription details’ - they keep telling me to contact iTunes. 

DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP.

I recently upgraded to the newest version of the PBO app and lost all my magazines. It is asking me to pay for access to them even though I am a longstanding subscriber. I contacted both the magazine and Apple but they cannot solve the problem.  
Be wary when using this app for PBO digital edition..

The new version seems to be re-written in some kind of cross-platform framework that is extremely slow. If you have the older version, don’t upgrade.

This issue doesn't show up although issues before and after it are available. Frustrating when you have a paid subscription and you can't get the vendor to even look into the issue at their end

So I left a feedback in August 2021 and nothing has been done by to remedy issues they created. Simply said, you pay for something and they “upgrade” and you lost your purchases…as they are not available any more…how about that? I said once it’s a day time robbery and not it’s evident they simply don’t care and don’t give a F$@c! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE or download this app if you had a previous version on your devices as this version will prevent you accessing your any paid issues!

as usual PBO proves itself to be a great boating publication...far better than anything we have in the USA.  Digital allows me to receive issues even when I am at sea , here in the South Pacific
