## What is Practice Math with Wendy?

Practice basic math skills with Wendy, a walking Dot. Your Kids can get a deeper understanding and practice on their own and have fun to win the race with Wendy. Not only kids with difficulties in learning mathematics profit from the visual feedback in the game and the step by step task presentation.

There are four games available:
- Flash dots: numbers of dots have to be recognized without counting. This skill is important for develop a mental representation of numbers and operations.
- Addition
- Subtraction
- Additon and Subtraction

The game is adaptable to the needs of the learners. You can change the number space, task presentation, number of tasks and so on.

… leider funktioniert der Blitzblick nicht reibungslos. Sobald man eine Aufgabe falsch gemacht hat, werden keine weiteren Aufgaben mehr angezeigt. Bitte an der Stelle überarbeiten, sonst ist dieser Teil unbrauchbar.

Unbegreiflich wie diese App vor allem für den Preis positive Bewertungen bekommen hat. Die App gibt null Feedback für Kleinkinder absolut uninteressant!!!

**Developer response:** Es tut mir leid, dass sie nicht zufrieden sind. Allerdings kann ich ihre Aussage, dass die App kein Feedback gibt nicht nachvollziehen. Gerade die unmittelbare Rückmeldung (sowohl visuell durch Vergleich der Mengen als auch durch die Fortschrittsanzeige) ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der App. Sie dürfen sich bei Verbesserungsvorschlägen gerne an info@lernsoftware-mathematik.de wenden.

Super App,ohne ablenkenden Schnickschnack. Prima für Kinder mit Lernschwierigkeiten geeignet. Ich bin sehr froh,damit etwas Geeignetes für meinen Sohn gefunden zu haben - endlich kommen wir mit Mathe voran!

Gefällt mir sehr, weil sie so ruhig und einfach gestaltet ist und es auch eine ganz einfache Stufe zum Lernen gibt.
Würde mir noch wünschen, dass die Positionen der Punkte des Rechenschiffchens exakt mit denen der Zählpunkte darunter übereinstimmen ( eben zum Lernen)

Wer die Apps von Christian Urff kennt, weiß dass man qualitativ hochwertige Apps erwirbt. Wenn man mit dem iPad im Unterricht arbeitet, kommt man an seinen sehr gut konzipierten, didaktisch wertvollen Apps nicht drum herum. So wie auch bei "Rechnen mit Wendi". Wendi ist eine didaktische Umsetzung des mathematischen Konzepts, wonach die simultane Erfassung von Mengen und die Arbeit mit strukturierten Mengen (Zehner- bzw. Zwanziger-Schiffchens) den Aufbau des Zahlbegriffs fördert.  Diese Umsetzung hat er bei "Rechnen mit Wendi" hervorragend gelöst. Die App ist somit für Schüler mit Lernschwierigkeiten und Dyskalkulie gleichermaßen geeignet. Was mir des Weiteren sehr gut an dieser App gefällt, ist die Möglichkeit verschiedene Anpassungen vorzunehmen (Zahlenräume, Aufgabenanzahl etc). Dadurch kann die App individuell an die Voraussetzungen eines Schülers adaptiert werden. Darüber hinaus, kann nach dem Update und in Verbindung mit einem Interface (Bluetooth bspw.) die App auch alternativ angesteuert werden. Das bedeutet, dass motorisch stark beeinträchtige Personen mit dieser App eigenaktiv arbeiten können. Das macht diese App einmalig und sehr wertvoll! Weiter so!
