What's New in Practice Player

2.10.0

July 5, 2026

Never miss your entrance again. A new metronome count-in gives you a steady beat before the music starts, so you come in right on time — set the tempo and beat count for each song, and it counts you back in every time a loop repeats. Swipe any song or practice point and you'll find a cleaner, color-coded set of actions — quicker to set your start and end points, reorder, share, and edit. On iOS 26, a new Liquid Glass bar now glides to mark your practice range. Also in this update: • Tap a new playlist and it opens right away, ready to name • Smoother song deletes inside playlists Bug Fixes & Stability: • Fixed a crash when exporting a backup on iOS 26 • Fixed crashes when deleting practice points • Steadier playback range and waypoint markers Recent Features: • Playlists — organize songs into setlists, lessons, and warm-ups • Storage Manager, Apple Music Search, Practice Goals & Streaks, Ringtones & Clips Thank you for practicing with us! If Practice Player helps you play, please take a moment to leave a review — it really helps.

A wonderful app!!

This is perfect for practicing repetition and/or practicing a piece of a song. I’ve been enjoying it for a couple of years now. I couldn’t do without Practice Player! I absolutely love it!!

Response from developer

Hey there WA9T thanks for using practice player!

player issues

having playback issues

Really great app!

I think this app is pretty fantastic and has a great set of features, and is a lot better than other similar apps when trying to playback songs. I highly recommend this app and think it’s of really good value for musicians starting out in their career. The only reason I don’t rate it 5 stars yet is that there are a few very minor bugs at this moment, but other than that I think this is such an essential tool that should be in just about anyone’s app library who is serious about getting better at an instrument.

It helps a lot

A great tool to learn music. Select the parts you want to train and repeat them until the end of the world (or you finally learn). The method for choosing and including songs is a little tricky, but works.

Bugs

Great app but unfortunately saving backups wont work. Whatever I choose iCloud nor on device. It just jumps back to the saving window.

Response from developer

Hey there medenaii, this was an iOS 18 bug and we’ve added a workaround. Thanks for using Practice Player
