A wonderful app!!
This is perfect for practicing repetition and/or practicing a piece of a song. I’ve been enjoying it for a couple of years now. I couldn’t do without Practice Player! I absolutely love it!!

Really great app!
I think this app is pretty fantastic and has a great set of features, and is a lot better than other similar apps when trying to playback songs. I highly recommend this app and think it’s of really good value for musicians starting out in their career. The only reason I don’t rate it 5 stars yet is that there are a few very minor bugs at this moment, but other than that I think this is such an essential tool that should be in just about anyone’s app library who is serious about getting better at an instrument.

It helps a lot
A great tool to learn music. Select the parts you want to train and repeat them until the end of the world (or you finally learn). The method for choosing and including songs is a little tricky, but works.
Bugs
Great app but unfortunately saving backups wont work. Whatever I choose iCloud nor on device. It just jumps back to the saving window.

App drops songs from imported playlists
So it’s been many months since I last updated this review. I received an email from Jeff again last week totally out of the blue telling me this issue was fixed - and it is! Again, I never expected this. It says so much to Jeff and his character and commitment. Thank you, Jeff! One final suggestion - allow the ability to alter the pitch of songs as well to compensate for dropped tunings and this app will be perfect! Thank you again for a great app!

I’m updating my original review. I was having trouble with songs dropping from the app but it has since been fixed. Jeff, the app developer reached out to me many months later to let me know that this has been addressed. I was never expecting this, and it says a lot about him and his commitment to quality and customer support. If only there was a way to adjust the pitch up or down a few cents that, to me, would complete the app. ———————————————- I was really attracted to this app for the features it had but after using it for an hour I’m really disappointed with it. The app keeps dropping songs imported from Apple play. I have uploaded a 9 song playlist several times in the past hour. The app keeps dropping the songs, and I have to delete the playlist and upload them again. This has happened 5 times in the past hour. This is very frustrating because I love the features of this app and hope you can get it fixed. I even upgraded to the ultimate version and still have issues. As is right now, I would not recommend this app.

Awesome Application
I use this to loop songs and master hard breakdowns. Truly awesome to be able to take notes and curate my songs
Great app to practice with
I like the app. Able to add multiple songs, add multiple points to loop through and can backup and restore. Jeff the creator has been very responsive and helpful with app issues and getting a fix out there pretty quickly. I run it on an iPad and an iPhone. I’ve had issues with being able to backup on my iPhone but it’s old, iPhone 6s and so not app issue. I highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed!!! When I’m trying to learn a difficult solo, this app lets me isolate a passage, slow it way down and play it over and over until I nail it. This has become an indispensable tool is my arsenal of music training apps. I use this app every day and recommend it to all of my fellow musicians.

Stability issues
I found the following issues with the application:
1) I can import a song from my music but when I relaunch the app. it is unable to load that song. It keeps giving error asking to re-import
2)The app keeps crashing when I try to delete marked points.

Great app but tempo adjuster has stopped working?
Hi i’m updating the initial review i left below because I’m still a fan of the app but wanted to ask if the added feature of being able to backup or restore your files means being able to export the track with all its points notes etc made on the app for future use? Also, for some reason, every time i open the app now none of the apple music imports are there but instead it just says Apple Song Unavailable Try Adding again . Once i reload the tracks the stuff i’ve created in the app is there but it’s just a bit frustrating having to do this every time i use the app and it’s a bit of a guessing game trying to work out which track is which. I realise both these issues may not be caused by the app itself but could be an Apple or other block but hoping you can at least clarify the backup//restore feature in case i’m doing something wrong. Oh and the older tempo changing issue isn’t one anymore which i’m happy to report! Still use the app more than most on my devices for prepping orchestral repertoire and have working around the apple music problem by importing tracks from my icloud drive locally and those don’t disappear.

The webpage is one page and has a large “download” button at the bottom. You can’t miss it. Is this a fake review? There is a Send Feedback link on the menu. Currently there are no groups or folders on the app.
