After the test, it tells you how to solve that specific question. It’s a very good learning tool if you’re motivated to learn. ### 5/5 — Look at this! *2020-05-03, version 1.6.8* You have to see varsity tutor because I had a math test and I chose to do this and I saw it was similar to the test so I kept on doing it and then soon on my report card I got a 98 on the test! ### 5/5 — BEST FREE STUDYING APP EVER! *2020-03-28, version 1.6.8* I am preparing for my MCAT and this is such a helpful app. It has a large number of questions, gives you immediate feedback on whether or not you got the question right, and also has fantastic explanations to go along with each question, it makes studying so much easier. I also used this app my junior year of high school to study for my ACT. I didn’t use it very religiously like I do now (maybe because I didn’t have the same motivation like I do with getting into med school 😂) but I remember that it was also great for that. I highly recommend this app, it is free, and so helpful! I am so grateful that there is such a great resource out there! :) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Incorrect! *2020-09-11, version 1.6.8* I’ve found several inaccuracies while using this app. This defeats the purpose! Wrong answers!!! ### 1/5 — Not for GRE *2019-10-28, version 1.6.8* Cannot speak for the other subjects as I was only interested in the GRE, but stay away from this app. I was initially drawn to its free bank of practice tests and Question of the day feature, but soon learned that the questions are not like the ones on the GRE. A brief online search will reveal that ETS is the way to go. It’s worth the money and this is coming from someone who already took it. ### 2/5 — Its ok *2020-12-15, version 1.6.8* Its seem like a good app but i have social anxiety and i cant talk thats y i give it a low rating ### 2/5 — What?! *2017-09-30, version 1.6.5* I was in the MIDDLE of a diagnostics test and the app just refreshed! It didn’t save my progress or anything so something I built up over several days (because I have so little time that I try to use it during my 10 minute breaks... if I even get them) is now just GONE!!! I has JUST gotten half way through the test. Why doesn’t it at least save your progress?! /Several days!!!/ And I can’t contact anybody to complain about this problem, either, without signing up for tutor information! It's good to have this app when I couldn't access my laptop or if I'm on a road trip but didn't want to miss out on any studying time. The questions on here are very similar to my next step account and my top Princeton review practice questions. ### 4/5 — Great but... *2019-05-05, version 1.6.8* It is a good app but it is not a great way to learn or practice some of the problems if you can see the answers. If you could hide the answers than it would be a tremendous app to learn concepts from. ### 4/5 — Good review but too many errors *2016-04-13, version 1.4.0* This app has a lot to offer in having lots of review problems and in showing how to get the answers after you've submitted for a grade. However, I found several errors in both tests that I took: Calc AP AB diagnostic 1 and high school common core math 1. There is no way to let the author know where the errors are so that they can be corrected in a later version. I tutor Calc AP and teach math and computer science in college. ### 4/5 — Pretty Good *2015-12-07, version 1.2.2* I like the app so far, but the biggest reason why I downloaded the app is to find a tutor. One of my friends told me it was free. But now I realized the app is free but tutoring isn't necessarily and I don't want to call and bother someone if I'm not 100% sure I could pay. I wish that this would be more clear. edited: Tutoring is not free. It's pretty expensive in my opinion, about 65$ per hour. All of the tutors seem to be highly qualified so this makes sense, but this expense is not in my budget. Also I tried using the AP Chinese practice materials and taking a practice test, but it's all in traditional characters. It would be nice if there was a simplified option.
