## What is PracticeXP?

PracticeXP is practice tracking built for school band and choir programs.

Students log practice in seconds. Directors open one dashboard and see who is on track, who has gone quiet, and how the whole program is doing — before the concert, not after.

FOR STUDENTS
• Log a session in seconds, or start the timer and let it fill the time in for you
• Streaks, badges and personal goals that reward showing up
• Class and grade leaderboards
• Tap-through fingering charts for your instrument
• 135 hand-checked practice resources — scales, warm-ups, technique, theory
• A daily practice reminder you set yourself, kept on your own phone

• One dashboard covering every student, section and class
• A heads-up panel naming students who have missed their goal two weeks running
• Section and grade totals, and per-student history
• CSV export for your gradebook
• Monthly practice summaries emailed to parents

HOW SCHOOLS GET IT
PracticeXP is licensed to schools annually. Students and parents cannot create an account on their own — your band or choir director adds you to the roster, and you sign in with your school email address. Directors whose school is not set up yet can request access at practicexp.com.

BUILT FOR A SCHOOL'S RULES
• No advertising, and no analytics or tracking SDK anywhere in the student app.
• Every AI feature ships switched off. A director turns one on for their program, and the two that transmit a student's own writing need a second, per-class opt-in first.
• Each school's data is isolated by rules enforced on our servers, not merely hidden in the interface.
• Privacy policy, COPPA notice, data retention policy and a Data Privacy Agreement are published for district review at practicexp.com/security.

WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL
The app keeps your own practice log on the device, so it opens and works in a practice room with bad wifi. Entries sync when you are back online.

A tuner and metronome, built in.
Press play to time your practice and they appear right under the clock. The tuner shows the note as it's written on your part — a trumpet playing a written C sees a C.

The app knows what you play.
Tips picked for your instrument on your dashboard, the fingering chart opened to your instrument, and Resources sorted to your section.

A fresh look.
Softer, faster, and easier on a phone — with a tab bar at the bottom where your thumb already is. Long sections fold away and stay folded.

Practice rings.
Your weekly and daily goals are now rings that fill as you log.

For directors: a classroom board for the projector, a weekly email with your program's numbers every Friday, and optional Thursday reminders for students who haven't logged.

Plus 165 checked practice resources, including new material for strings and choir, and a lot of small fixes you'll notice and we won't list.
