Anytime someone brings up a bug in the forums or on FB, Euegne (the dev) will lash out and gaslight you into believing his app couldn’t possibly be the reason for the bug. **Developer response:** You aren't providing any specifics what's buggy. All existing app features remain available exactly as before—nothing has been removed or locked. The optional subscription applies only to a small set of additional “Pro” features, and using the subscription is entirely up to you. The core functionality of the app continues to work the same way it always has. Posting personal attacks here doesn’t help resolve technical problems. I can’t find anything. Nothing works the way it used to (it used to work!). I’m not normally one of those “I hate change” types but this is ridiculous. It didn’t need to be completely unrecognizable. **Developer response:** A lot has changed, yet things are still mostly in the same places they’ve always been. If you’re having trouble navigating the updated UI, check out the app showcase in the main app menu or reach out to support@practiscore.com for help finding specific features. ### 4/5 — Very useful tool! *2025-09-20, version 2.0.3* The 9/2025 update stabilized the app and it’s the best tool you’ll find for checking your scores - well worth the $$. I love being able to directly compare myself to another individual (or 2) and the “what if” feature is great, albeit sometimes painful to see. ### 2/5 — It was decent. *2025-09-15, version 2.0.2* It’s horrible now. ### 3/5 — Yikes *2025-09-12, version 2.0.2* A definite step backwards from the prior version. ### 2/5 — New update stinks *2025-09-08* This new update is awful. 1) there’s no back button to go back to the whole match, after reviewing a stage. You need to click a different box and then “overall results” 2)”What if” edits don’t stick. If you edit a stage and try to go back to the match results to see your “what if” scores they’re no longer there. 3) There’s no more red button to easily add shooters for comparing 2 or more shooters. 4) I keep swiping right and deleting myself from the entire match. Then I have to reload the match from the “change match” tab **Developer response:** We aren’t watching over your shoulder, of course, but from what you’ve described it sounds like you may be pressing the “Remove All” button at the top of the comparison screen. That button clears everything and resets the match to its original state — exactly the same way it worked in the old app. The most recent update also includes a new app showcase that highlights the updated interface and features. I’ve been a user for a few years now, and was previously very happy with the layout and density of information. Now, a significant amount of screen space is wasted to completely blank areas, and the text size looks like it belongs on baby’s first brainrot iPad. Key features seem to be missing as well. Where did competitors’ classifications go? Why does the match name disappear when I scroll down? Why can I no longer tap on the bars on the graph on the individual competitor screen to see split times and other data? Why does the list of saved matches (when you tap “Change Match”) now put the most recently viewed match at the top of the list instead of staying in descending chronological order, or at least offering an option? The main purpose of this app (to everyone I know that uses it, at least) is to view data in an efficient manner, not be simple to use or look nice. To the developer, I understand you must have put a lot of hard work into this update, so this feedback must be difficult to receive, but it simply ruins the experience of using your app. Please revert the design or bring back key elements from the previous design. **Developer response:** We understand that change can be frustrating, but please know you are not looking at a “reskin” of the old app — this is a completely new app, rebuilt from scratch. If we hadn’t released this version, the old app would have soon disappeared from the App Store entirely, leaving you without updates or support. You’ve received this brand-new app for free, and we continue to work hard to improve it. Can’t even sign into your account and register for matches. ### 1/5 — Barely Works, Hostile Developer *2025-12-07* Don’t hate the reskin, but the fact that it was even necessary speaks to the quality of the developer behind this app. A lot of issues were surprisingly fixed recently, but if you actually check out the support forums - Eugene (the developer) almost never listens to user’s complained and instead just argues with everyone. Current issue I have is that app eats a lot of disk space and only way to deal with it is to delete and reinstall. **Developer response:** It’s confusing to say the developer “never listens” when many issues you mentioned have already been fixed. We can only address problems we know about, so the fastest way to get things resolved is to share specific details with us. I try to search matches, competitor names, numbers, whatever and it doesn’t pull anything up anymore. It just says “no matches found” every single time. Not to mention the actual look of the app now is terrible, text size is HUGE and wastes so much space. I could get past the look of it if it actually FUNCTIONED. **Developer response:** The new app showcase provides instructions how to adjust text size to your personal preferences. The only real value I got from this app was the shot time data both numerical and in the graph. I can’t find that anywhere. ### 1/5 — “New” app is absolutely terrible *2025-09-14* The new app or new version of this is the most user unfriendly app design I’ve ever used. All of the features that made useable in previous versions are gone. Instead of menus, there are now long/short tap features to add shooters to compare. But you have to figure it all out on your own. Changes keep happening to display more useless information, like the state the shooters from. Neat, just what no one wanted. Bring back average percentage lost, not average points lost. Re-enable absolute max points like it wash before and a toggle setting to toggle between absolute max points finish and predicted percentage finish. **Developer response:** We aren't sure why you saying that you have to figure things on your own. The app does show you a showcase that walks you through the new interface. Though nothing really changed how you access menus and various parts of the app, including menus and other screens. That used to be easy to find by clicking on the stage bars. I cannot find this info now. I don’t see any option to calculate “what if” or look at stage times with splits. Having the pro version, lets me look at some live scoring. Super easy to switch between matches. It’s updated often and the developer is very quick to get back to you with any questions. Highly recommend you try it. ### 5/5 — This is the one *2026-06-21* This is the OG but the recent updates are bonkers. Not only can you view, compare, and the all important what-if, the recent updates automatically creates video overlays and even synchronizes MULTIPLE video files (e.g. combines first person AND third person videos with split time overlay) This app procreates hard ### 5/5 — Forget about the other apps *2026-06-02* I was hesitant for a while to pay for any apps. This was actually the first app I ever paid for. And it’s totally worth it. I just found out it can over lay the data onto video ! What a game changer it has been for me. It’s helped me figure out where majority of my time lost and what areas I’m lacking vs the competition. If you really wanna see where you stack up and improve this a long with an amg timer is the combo to get. ### 5/5 — Updated for PCSL *2025-11-22, version 2.0.8* Added T zone for PCSL finally so I fixed my review ### 5/5 — Change is good *2025-09-22* The latest update has a lot more features, I like that you can actually see division class and shooter category now on the main screen. Adjusting the size is also a benefit for those of us with old eyes. Many bugs of the old iOS app have been fixed. The developer responds quickly to every mail/feedback and helps wherever he can. Thanks! ### 5/5 — Update September 2025 *2025-09-12* The September 2025 update is complete garbage. It is not intuitive at all. Please return it to what it was. Edit: the above comment was made in the first days of the update. On my end, there was information missing such as hits and penalties. Not much seemed to work For example; The time charts showed split times in tenths only. It was clunky and inefficient, when you clicked on the shot you had to hold the shot to see the time of the shot and the split. With big hands and a small screen I couldn’t see the information. That issue and the others I’ve observed has been fixed on my end. There are some new quirks with operation, like sliding on the name to access information, well that feature is now a long hold, sliding deletes things. It seems overall it operates about the same. **Developer response:** We totally get that you’re used to the old app and may feel lost at first. The old app couldn’t be updated and would have disappeared from the app store otherwise. So, we gave you a brand new one and it still has all the features you loved. It is user friendly and liking the fact you can search by competitor name or number. The display is nicely played out too.
