What the hell???? ### 1/5 — App never works properly. *2026-08-14, version 6.74.0* I tried Practo app multiple times to consult doctors. There was no single time it worked without any issues. ### 1/5 — General hygiene *2026-08-04* The clinic hygiene is very poorly maintained the shelves where the implements are kept are not clean & tidy. There is no provision for patients to gargle their mouths, instead a suction tube is used whether that tube is changed every time it is to be used is not known. The patient has a right to know these things. Both rooms are decorated with cobweb which is very unbecoming of a dental clinic. The cost of my treatment when initially assessed was ₹18,000/- no one explained the break up of the cost. Besides this I was asked to pay for meds as and when it was given. When my treatment was completed I wound up paying ₹37,500/- & if I add the periodic cost of med I would have paid something like ₹40,000/-,which to me seemed very exorbitant. When estimates are given with a likelihood of an increase the patient must be told in advance. This was not done in my case. All in all my experience was of shock & disappointment. I do not think I will be inclined to recommend anyone to the clinic. The consultation call ended within a minute, and the doctor suggested a prescription without properly listening to my actual condition. I paid ₹600 for the consultation, but it felt like I did not receive proper attention or care. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money. ### 1/5 — Scamming with Shady User Experience *2026-06-13* My experience with Practo left me feeling misled rather than cared for. I booked a doctor consultation through the only booking flow presented in the app and was charged ₹600. Later, when I contacted support, I was told that I had booked a “Premium” consultation while an “Instant” consultation costing ₹300 also existed. The problem is that I was never clearly given that choice during the booking process. If users aren’t shown both options transparently, how are they supposed to make an informed decision? This isn’t about the ₹300 difference—it’s about trust and honesty in the user experience. Instead of acknowledging the issue, support hid behind technical terminology about booking types. It felt like the interface was designed to steer users toward the more expensive option rather than help them choose what best suits their needs. Healthcare platforms should prioritize transparency and patient welfare. I also used it for treatment, but my health issue was not resolved by the doctor. After taking the prescribed medicines, I experienced problems that I later described in my patient story. But the real story starts here. In my experience, positive reviews seem to get approved very quickly, while patient stories that express genuine concerns or negative experiences do not always appear to be approved. It hires low quality doctor. When you contact doctor, he is not even listen to your problem effectively. I felt like i am the one who is guiding the dr. instead of viceversa.
