### 1/5 — Waste of money

Waste

### 5/5 — Excellent App with all you need to enjoy your visit

*2023-06-01*

This app really made our day at the Prado. We did not feel overwhelmed as the app has different itineraries to navigate the huge number of paintings. There is a useful map showing the rooms with the paintings in your itinerary highlighted. Each painting is eloquently described in a very informative way. Highly recommended!

### 1/5 — Not intuitive to use. Save your money.

*2021-12-22, version 2.2.4*

I expected a “Rick Steve’s-like experience”. I was sorely disappointed. This app doesn’t give you any indication of even which floor to visit!

I spent 10 minutes waking around the museum trying to locate where the first painting of the 2 hour audio tour was! After that I gave up! I’m hoping I can get my money back on this one.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2019-10-01, version 2.2.4*

The Prado rooms are difficult to navigate for want of room IDs. This app does not help much with that, but it does help a lot with background and narrative about the major works. The museum-supplied map is nearly useless because the rooms themselves are not clearly labeled.

### 5/5 — Great guide to the best works at the Prado

*2019-02-04, version 2.2.4*

You could soend days wandering in the Prado without a guide to find the masterpieces. Museum audio guides rarely say “now skip six rooms, turn left and there’s the Velazquez.” This handy app gets you through all the greats in 2-1/2 hours, with commentary.

Ignore the reviews that complain about the app not having the correct locations of the paintings. Museums move canvases around for special exhibits, loans and cleaning. If something isn’t where the app says, ask one of the red-scarved guards. They are helpful and know exactly where everything is.

### 1/5 — Travelogue only

*2017-05-01, version 2.2.4*

I thought this was an app commented on in the financial times today but this is a travelogue and the pictures' is just awful to be kind. Perhaps as an accompaniment on a walk through it might be helpful, but since you're looking at the real thing, who needs a poorly focused iPad app. I bought it 10 minutes ago and it's now gone.

### 1/5 — Useless ... Wasted money

*2016-05-26, version 2.2.4*

The app is not aligned to the museum.

### 5/5 — Wonderful guide

*2015-11-16, version 2.2.4*

This guide for the Prado Museum was super useful, very easy to use and it helped me very much to enjoy the museum to the fullest.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2015-07-30, version 2.2.4*

Like a trip back to Madrid and a week in the Prado. Wonderful presentation!

### 3/5 — Not bad, could easily be better.

*2013-10-15, version 2.2.0*

I used this app just yesterday to make the recommended tour. I'm glad I had it, it gave me a more intimate experience than a guided tour would have, it showed me everything that really mattered, and my visit was the better for it.

That said, I have some gripes: some of the paintings are not where the map says they are. They were near the indicated locations, but it was mildly irritating to have to hunt around. The map should be correct, it's not hard. Sound quality was poor, use a higher bitrate, please. The program bugged me for feedback twice during the tour (and when I had no connection), this is not cool. I should be able to use the earpod remote to pause and skip ahead. The music got annoying.
