(1) The app only wants to tell me where I am right now, so it's useless for planning. Google is better. 
(2) To unlock the map to use offline, you are taken to the App Store, with no indication of price. It seems very dishonest.

So I 'bought' this app....when I tried to launch i, nothing was available unless I paid ridiculous amounts ($9.99) for pieces of content.  Not even all of it!!  What a sham.  Avoid.
