## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-09

Reminders. Pray Day can now remind you at each of the four prayer times — morning, midday, evening and night. Choose the ones you want on the Today screen; nothing is switched on until you ask for it.

Study Guide. Go at your own pace instead of waiting for tomorrow. Move backwards and forwards through the path whenever you like, and jump back to today in one tap.

Prayer Request. A short tour explains how the shared prayer wall works and who sees what — tap Take a Tour at the top of the page.

Fixed: the app could close when leaving the Audio Bible while it was reading.

Also: a saved prayer could be lost if the phone ran out of storage at the wrong moment. It cannot now.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-06

Sunday Service — this week's sermon, opened in YouTube or the church's own podcast app.

The Audio Bible now keeps reading section after section with the screen locked, with full lock-screen and Control Center controls.

Read-aloud carries on into the next chapter until you stop it.

Six verses that were missing from the King James text have been restored: Matthew 2:16, Matthew 22:1, Matthew 26:38, Mark 4:40, Mark 7:11 and Mark 8:8. Verse numbers after those points are correct again.

Gospel Spades shows every player's bid all hand long, plus NIL bids and a four-colour deck. Fifty new rounds across the quick games.

Verse of the day now draws from sixty verses, with a share button.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-04

Games that never run out. Verse Scramble, Fill in the Blank and Verse Match now draw a fresh verse from the whole King James Bible every round, so they never repeat. Genealogies and lists of measurements are skipped — they make miserable puzzles.

More time to think: Verse Scramble and Verse Match now give you two minutes.

The game clock stays where it belongs. It used to keep running when you left the Games tab and announce "time is up" over whatever you'd moved on to. It now pauses until you come back, so looking a verse up mid-game costs you nothing.

Every Share button says Share. The verse of the day and the Sunday sermons had an unlabelled arrow that nobody could be expected to guess.

The Community tab is honest now. The sample prayer requests — invented people with invented needs — are gone, and so is the Fellowship tab that was only ever a promise. Your prayer wall is your own, kept on your phone.

Night mode's moon is easier to find, and its darkest setting has been eased back to somewhere you can still read.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-02

Verse Wheel — a new word puzzle. Sixteen boards built on a word from scripture, and every square has a clue behind it: the verse that word comes from, with the answer left blank.

Reading Plans — Psalms in 30 days, a proverb a day, the Gospels a chapter a day, or the New Testament in 180. Miss a week and nothing is lost; you pick up where you left off.

Night mode — a warm tint over the whole app for reading in the dark, in five colours and five strengths.

Fixed: six verses were missing from the King James text (Matthew 2:16, 22:1, 26:38, Mark 4:40, 7:11 and 8:8), which also left every verse after them numbered one low.

Fixed: the translators' margin notes were being printed inside the verses. Psalm 23:2 now ends where it should — "beside the still waters."

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-31
