## What is Pray First?

Pray First is a quiet space built for people who want to pray with intention — not squeeze it in between notifications.

Set your prayer times, choose apps to pause, and let the app hold the door open until you've had your moment with God.

How it works:
At your scheduled prayer time, Pray First pauses the apps you choose and presents you with a guided prayer. The prayer is shaped by what you bring to it — your focus, your situation, who you're praying for, and the posture of your heart. When you're done, your apps resume.

No login required. No social feed. No streak pressure. Just prayer.

• Prayer scheduling — set as many prayer times as you need, morning through night
• App pausing — choose which apps pause at prayer time using iPhone's built-in Screen Time
• Guided prayer — prayers shaped by your focus (peace, strength, wisdom, gratitude, patience), context (overwhelmed, waiting, conflict, and more), direction (yourself, family, work, others, the world), and posture (stillness, surrender, trust, and more)

Pray First uses iPhone's Screen Time feature (FamilyControls) to pause selected apps at prayer time. You choose which apps to pause — nothing is blocked without your permission. You can remove or disable this at any time in Settings.
