## What is Pray1Tim2?

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority." — 1 Timothy 2:1-2

You are invited to join us as we pray daily for our elected officials.

It is easy to criticize and complain about our political leaders. However, there is a better way. The Bible instructs us to pray for them—and Pray1Tim2 makes that calling simple and achievable in just a few minutes each day.

HOW IT WORKS

Select your state. Each day, you'll see six of your elected leaders—your Governor, U.S. Senators, and State Representatives. Tap each leader's photo as you pray for them. When you've prayed for all six, receive an encouraging Scripture and reflection.

WHAT TO PRAY

Political leaders face daily temptations and difficult decisions. Here are six ways to pray for them:

• Salvation — That they would know Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12)
• Wisdom — For difficult decisions (James 1:5)
• Discernment — To know right from wrong (1 Kings 3:9)
• Courage — To do what is right (2 Samuel 10:12)
• Humility — To resist pride (1 Peter 5:5)
• Integrity — To act with honor (Psalm 25:21)

- New notification sound — Choose between Church Bells and Big Ben chimes for prayer alert notifications. Find it in Settings → Notification Sound.
  - Prayer alerts toggle — Enable or disable prayer alert notifications from the Settings screen.
  - Bell badge — A notification bell in the header shows when new prayer alerts have arrived.
  - Prayed indicator on alerts — Prayer alerts you've prayed for now show a checkmark so you can see what's been covered.
  - Smoother alert navigation — After praying for an alert, stay on the screen and jump to the next alert or return to the list without losing your place.
  - Donate link — Find a Donate option in the drawer menu.
  - Widget fix — The home screen widget now correctly filters dismissed alerts.
  - Bug fixes and performance improvements
