## What is Prayer Guide?

Prayer Guide teaches you how to pray, one step at a time.

It is built for anyone starting out: new Muslims, reverts, and anyone who was
never taught the prayer properly and would rather not ask.

WASHING BEFORE PRAYER
Wudu is the washing done before prayer. Every step is laid out in order, with
what to wash, how many times, and why it matters. When water cannot be found
or cannot be used, the app switches to tayammum, the dry purification.

THE FIVE PRAYERS
Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha each have their own tab, with every round
written out from the opening declaration through to the closing peace.

READ IT YOUR WAY
Show the Arabic, the transliteration, the English meaning, or any combination.
If you are learning the sounds, keep the transliteration and hide the rest.
Read every step in one long scroll, or move through them one at a time.

START SIMPLE
Bare Minimum shows only what is required for the prayer to be valid. Turn on
Complete Steps once you are ready to add the recommended practice.

QIBLA COMPASS
Find the direction of the Kaaba from your city, with a plain explanation of
how to find north and how far out a reading may be.

Every Arabic term is explained in plain English the first time it appears. No
account, no advertising, and it works without an internet connection.

If Prayer Guide has been useful, there is now an optional way to support it in Settings. It opens in your browser, nothing is unlocked, and the app stays free either way.

Qibla compass

The qibla screen now has a live compass. Hold the phone flat and the arrow points to the Kaaba. The bearing from your city is still shown above it, since a phone compass can be thrown off by nearby metal.
