## What is PrayFr?

Instagram waits for your prayer.

PrayFr shields the apps that pull you in — until you've prayed. Choose TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or anything else. Open one, and PrayFr steps in first: today's verse, an eight-second prayer, and your apps open for the rest of the day.

No willpower required. The shield does the remembering.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose the apps that eat your time
2. Open one — PrayFr's shield appears
3. Read today's verse and hold to pray. We write a prayer for what you're carrying.
4. Your apps open until tomorrow

One prayer a day. Before the scroll, not instead of your life.

BUILT FOR THE HABIT

• Daily verse — scripture arrives at the time you choose, never overnight
• A prayer written for you — rooted in the verse and personal to your struggles
• Streaks with grace — miss a day and spend a grace day instead of starting over
• God Mode — 7, 21 and 40-day challenges to break the pattern
• The whole Bible — read KJV or WEB, and ask questions answered with chapter and verse

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

PrayFr uses Apple's Screen Time framework. The apps you choose never leave your device — PrayFr cannot see which ones they are. Turn blocking off anytime, in one tap, on any plan.

WHO IT'S FOR

Built by a Christian, for Christians. Non-denominational and Bible-first — for anyone new to faith, growing in it, returning after time away, or tired of giving their first hour to a feed.

FREE AND PRO

PrayFr is free to download. Free includes app blocking, one prayer a day, the daily verse, Psalms and Proverbs, one Scripture question a day, and one grace day a month.

PrayFr Pro unlocks unlimited prayers, all 66 books of the Bible, unlimited Scripture chat, and three grace days a month.

• Monthly: $9.99

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-09-24

I just changed the name, subtitle and keywords, that's it. Just trying to position myself well in appstore

### 1.2 — 2026-09-18

PrayFr can now shield your apps.

Choose the apps that pull you in. When you open one, PrayFr steps in first — one verse, one prayer — and they open for the rest of your day. Everything stays on your device, and you can turn it off anytime.

Also in this update:
• Your verse writes itself in when you open the app, and your prayer is written out for you
• Grace days — miss a day without losing your streak (one a month, three with Pro)
• Pick when your daily verse arrives. At most one reminder in the evening, never overnight.
• God Mode challenges can start again from day one instead of ending
• Read the Bible and ask Scripture questions from the You tab
• Smoother scrolling, clearer buttons, and a lot of small fixes

### 1.1 — 2026-09-01

PrayFr is simpler now.

The home screen is the prayer itself — verse, flame, hold. Everything
else moved out of the way.

God Mode is one task a day: pray. Not four.

You can skip signing in and start straight away, and if you close the
app partway through setup it picks up where you left off.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-15
