Waiting for one update before 5-star rating. *2026-06-03, version 1.4.3* I love this app and I'm amazed that it's just two people running it! I love how much you can change it for your own needs - as many or as few reminders at whatever times of day you prefer. I only have two reminders each evening within a few minutes of each other. I also set some for daily or weekly reminders when there is something I want to remember and pray over more often. Can’t speak highly enough of the app. And it’s free! ### 5/5 — Best Prayer Log *2026-01-22, version 1.3.2* I have been using this prayer log for several years now, and before they stopped their patreon I was a member because of how passionate I am for their work! This app lets you create prayers in an "in progress" tab, create categories for them to fall under, and track how many times you have prayed for each specific entry. You can keep the face aesthetic by collapsing your categories, you can see the stats of when you entered the prayer (date), notes underneath to remind yourself of the prayers details or progress, how many amens youve given it, and the options to move the prayer to an archive or to your answered prayers tab. When you move a prayer it stays categorized! The features are a blessing, and you can customize how many reminders to pray you get throughout the day. The reminders appear with the title of your prayer so you have a nice and clear variety, and it is easy to clear all reminders in the reminders tab with one button if you let them stack up like I know I do. Recently the developers announced a collaboration with Youversion the excellent Bible app, so I cannot wait to see the fruit of their work together! I recommend this prayer log to everyone I know, as it's simple and effective. The group feature helps me organize my prayers to each god, and I also appreciate the turning off Bible verses setting which other prayer apps do not have. All this to say the app is completely customizable! So no matter what you practice, you can still use this app. Even if you were not religious you could use this app for self manifesting and reminders. Overall amazing free app!! As someone who thrives on organization, structure, and visuals, Prayminder has helped me to stay consistent in a way I never have before. I have actually been more consistent this past year than at any other time in my life since I started using it. I recommend this app to everyone! Now when someone asks me to pray for them, I actually have a place to write it down and I actually follow through. I have seen sooo many answered prayers this past year because Prayminder helps me keep track and stay intentional (obviously God is the One who is answering them, but now I’m so much more aware of it). I also love being able to press “Amen” as a way to mark that I truly prayed. Of course prayer is not about checking a box, so I am mindful to not turn it into something that’s tied to earning God’s love. But my brain works this way and this app has genuinely helped me pray every single day. It’s so elegantly simple, it has just what I need and nothing more. It’s truly helped me to pray more regularly and make it part of my daily life. Also really helps to remember things my friends and family have asked me to pray for. It’s a great index/storage place for all those prayers I’d previously just forget to pray. And it’s great that you can mark them as answered and look back on them. Glad for the owners that they’re partnering with YouVersion! Sounds like a big step for them. But I hope the app doesn’t change too much. A couple changes I haven’t loved: - the “status” bar thing on the reminders tab, glad that can me turned off cause it was just unnecessary cutter for me. - prayer not closing when you tap “amen” I preferred how it was before. - the little “do you love the prayminder app?” pop up that asks you to review the app. I’m doing it now, but it’s something I don’t really like from the youversion Bible app and something I’ve heard my friends complain about too. I feel like it’s just unnecessary noise. I know reviews help a lot, which is why I’m doing this, cause I genuinely do love this app. But especially in an app for prayer, I’ve loved the simplicity and predictability of this app. Prayer without distractions! And now some of these changes are getting distracting. It will not be removed I have done everything and still the alarm goes off. It’s gotten to the point where I no longer charge my phone in my room I have had to move it to another part of my house, because the alarm will not stop going off. I have re downloaded the app and removed it and now there are to reminder alarms going off. Next step is I am buying a new phone. It’s awful that this n vacation I can sleep in because I have an alarm from an app I have removed still going off waking up the entire house. I’m seriously at the point of getting some legal action as it is ridiculous I can not get this off my phone. Do yourself a favor and do not download ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2025-09-10, version 1.2.13* I liked the look and how the reminders would have worked, but it is lacking one critical feature. You can't easily pray through your list. You have to enter and exit each prayer individually, which is distracting and cumbersome. ### 2/5 — Limited *2021-03-01, version 1.1.3* I can use my note apps to create a list of names, but at least with notes, I can write out what the person is asking prayer for. Just by seeing their name I can be thankful for them and thank God for them, but I can’t always remember what the person I am praying for needs. Could be improved by still having the list that you type the name or type of prayer (be it people or world problems), but when you click the title the option to add detail for what the prayer is about could be helpful. For now, I will stick with my Notes app. One good thing is the reminder timer. Notifications for deleted prayers?! *2025-04-22, version 1.2.11* I really like this app, it does what it’s supposed to, However, I’d really love to be able to export my prayers as PDF for my ministry. (as well as add files to the app!) I like to just look at my phone screen and pray the prayer without opening it and actually hitting “amen” most of the time because I just want the quick glance to remind me. I found myself a few times going, “wait, how come I’m not getting prayer reminder anymore?” Then I would open the app and hit an amen and it would start working again. I wish it would always send reminders without the need to hit “amen”. Essentially it’s acting like, “If you don’t pray regularly, we’ll stop reminding you to even try.” I know that’s not the intent, but it’s disappointing to realize the app stopped just because I wasn’t hitting “amen” enough. I love the reminders!! Please fix this because I like this app so much. Other issues: I wish you could remove the beginning part where it says “time to pray for” before my text appears. Sometimes the wording of my request makes the sentence read awkwardly. Not a big deal. Also there is a glitch where when you need to edit a prayer, if it’s too low on the list, the keyboard gets in the way and you can’t click inside the text because you can’t touch it. It is not that I do not have the time to pray but that I do not make the time to pray. Prayerminder reminds of this. This app helps me keep a record of who I am praying for and I can even add Praise reports of progress I see in peoples lives. The names that pop up are generally perfectly timed as I have discovered through praying and talking to many of the people I am praying for. This strengthens my faith and my prayer life in so many ways.
