PrayPal helps practicing Muslims bring more variety and intentionality to their daily salah. Instead of reciting the same Surahs every prayer, PrayPal recommends two Surahs for each of the five daily prayers based on what you have memorized, so you stay connected to more of the Quran every day. MEMORIZATION TRACKER Mark which Surahs you have memorized. For longer Surahs, you can save partial memorization ranges and specify exactly which ayahs you know. PrayPal uses your saved ranges to generate personalized recitation recommendations from your own repertoire. DAILY RECITATION RECOMMENDATIONS Each day, PrayPal pairs two Surahs with every prayer: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. Recommendations refresh daily, respect your memorized ayah ranges, and help keep recitation varied and meaningful. SMART AYAH CHUNKING For long memorized ranges, PrayPal automatically splits recommendations into manageable chunks (default 15 ayahs) and rotates progress over time so you steadily cover what you have memorized. BUILT-IN SURAH READER (OFFLINE) Tap recommended Surahs directly from prayer cards and read instantly in a clean modal reader. Quran text is bundled locally for fast offline access, with three reading modes: Flowing Verse Focus PRAYER TIMES FOR YOUR LOCATION View today's full prayer schedule based on your location. Use GPS auto-detection or manual entry by city/state/zip. Includes support for Hanafi Asr calculation preference. NIGHT TIMELINE See a clear visual timeline of night portions to better understand nighttime progression between Maghrib and Fajr. QIBLA COMPASS Use the Qibla tab for real-time direction guidance, including distance context and helpful Qibla facts. PRAYER DUAS Get contextual dua prompts connected to active prayers, with preference controls in settings. PRAYER NOTIFICATIONS Enable reminders at prayer times, with recommended Surahs and ayah ranges included so you know what to recite when it's time. SIMPLE, FOCUSED, AND PRIVATE No ads. The biggest change is full athan playback: when a prayer notification fires, the complete athan now plays in the background with system lock-screen Now Playing controls. You can opt in or out of the athan on a per-prayer basis from Notification Settings. The Settings tab was rewritten into clean grouped sections (Location, Prayer & Recitation, Notifications, Prayer Experience, Appearance) using familiar iOS conventions — full Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support, theme-aware icons that look right in all five appearance modes, and proper touch targets throughout. This release also adds a hidden Tester Tools section (5-tap the version footer to reveal) used for QA, and ships the React Native New Architecture on iOS. Everything from v1.6.0 — date-aware Home navigation, prayer-time caching, iOS / Android widgets, and the Apple Watch companion — continues to work as before. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-03-28 Redesigned Home Screen Prayer times and daily recitation recommendations are now combined into a single unified view. Each prayer card shows the time, your recommended Surahs, and ayah ranges — all in one place. Tab Navigation The app now uses a clean tab bar with Home and Settings tabs, making it faster to switch between your daily view and your preferences. Dedicated Settings Screen Notification preferences, sound selection, memorized Surahs, recitation history, and ayah chunking settings are now organized under a dedicated Settings tab — keeping the Home screen focused on what matters most. Improved Location Detection Location lookup has been refined for faster and more reliable prayer time calculations. Bug Fixes & Stability General improvements and under-the-hood fixes for a smoother experience. ### 1.0 — 2026-03-28 No release notes. ## Apps similar to PrayPal | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [SalahBreak: Prayer Times](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/salahbreak-prayer-times/id6768485272) | — | Free | Productivity | | [Adhan Alarm](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/adhan-alarm/id6759258114) | 5.0 (5) | Free | Productivity | | [Vendoo Go](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/vendoo-go/id6746722923) | — | Free | Productivity | | [Muslima365 Habit Building App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/muslima365-habit-building-app/id1612617695) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Productivity | | [AlphaTouch Video Intercom](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/alphatouch-video-intercom/id1442119869) | 4.6 (3,026) | Free | Productivity | | [LTSSMarylandEVV](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ltssmarylandevv/id1590914982) | 1.5 (39) | Free | Productivity | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
