If the child does not write the numbers as instructed it starts the letter or number over. This teaches the child the correct way to make a letter as well as ensuring the child isn't super sloppy about it. It does allow for some irregularity but not extreme irregularity. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the description doesn't state that it is only giving you three numbers and letters. The upgraded version is well worth the price of $1.99. Unfortunately when it asks you to upgrade it doesn't tell you he price until you click to upgrade. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2013-07-29, version 2.2.3* Doesn't even include the entire alphabet without having to upgrade. We have liked it from the start and its now being used by our second child. It looks like they have totally adopted the Orton-Gillingham learning methods which is great as this ensures my children will learn letter sounds and strokes properly with the bonus of numbers and blending.
