The prior style was well put together, easy to navigate, the current one is not nearly as good as that previous version. ### 2/5 — Can’t use anymore! *2022-09-18, version 1.40* The old version was wonderful! The new version is not something i will use much. I can do better in Microsoft word if necessary. Please bring back the old version. Giving three stars in hopes it will be put back to the original version. Then i would give 5 stars. If it stays as is ill delete it and would only give 1 start. ### 2/5 — I Don’t Use the Updated Version *2022-03-14, version 1.40* Sadly like others who’ve recently reviewed, I no longer use this app after the most event update. In its previous format, it was fast and simple to construct a sermon of any style, whether multi-point, Four-Page style, and even short and simple wedding/funeral sermons. And the preaching mode was also easy to use. I tried to use to the new format twice, but gave up both times because it’s just so much more complicated now…when it comes to sermon construction, simple is better. I would also love to see this return to its previous format. Until then, I will have to find another way to write and preach sermons. ### 1/5 — Changed *2022-03-07, version 1.40* I’d have to agree and say I loved the app till the new update due to this new update I’ve lost sermons that I needed and I can’t seems to restore them. So if anyone can help that knows how to restore my sermon. Everything has changed, and I don’t believe for the better. I used it for one sermon last week to test it out, and now this week I was going to try it again and everything is completely different. I don’t know… I don’t want to keep learning how to use it over and over again. I don’t know what was wrong with the last layout. I don’t much care for the presentation style setup now, and the markdown type of editing just doesn’t work for me. I have to learn different types of codes to make this work correctly, plus I can’t automatically add the Bible verses to the sermons like I could last week… Maybe I’m just missing something, but I’m not digging it fully. ### 1/5 — The worst *2021-11-01, version 1.30* This is my first time wanting to use an app for this purpose and its just not what I expected. Getting a 503 error on the website as well. ### 4/5 — Great app! (Needs a little bit more work) *2021-08-20, version 1.30* This app is AMAZING. This is the perfect app for making sermons. It’s easy to use and really organized. The only problem I have is that in the settings the version of the Bible can’t be changed. It stays in KJV and sometimes I need to use a different version and or Spanish versions. Overall, GREAT AMAZING APP. Keep up the GREAT work and I hope this little issue can get fixed. However, it lakes support for Apple Pages, and I cannot load my outlines in without individually converting each one to a .pdf and then submitting. But after saving my message 4 times I lost it everytime I would go back in to edit something! Glad the last time I screenshot everything! Also, recent updates to formatting are confusing and not user friendly and seems glitchy at times. I used to love the old version of this app. The new update is not user-friendly, the features in it are no longer good. All was well until it started glitching. I couldn’t see past sermons I wrote on here. It was so frustrating! And then came the update where the format became horrible. You might was well use Notes. This is the best sermon app I have found. While there might be bugs here and there as with any application, I have watched it get better with each update. The developer is also extremely accessible and responsive. I have found that what works best for me is that I start off adding notes to a new sermon in the app and then build out the rest of the sermon on the web application. I will then deliver the sermon from my iPad in the pulpit. ### 5/5 — Love this *2021-02-21, version 1.24* Preachup has been so helpful for me to organize my messages, and has allowed me to stop fumbling with physical notes. Also love the “Quote” feature that allows you to type in a verse reference, and it can automatically fill in those verses in the version of your choosing. Thanks ### 5/5 — A1 Sermon Prep App *2019-03-21, version 1.11* I started out using Sermonary, another preaching tool. I eventually strayed away from it because they didn’t have an app. I went back to my old routine of Pages (which is totally fine) but then I found Preachup. I love the simple aesthetic of this app. Constructing my messages is now something I enjoy putting effort into. I’m a visual person, so being able to see everything in this way helps so much.
