### 3/5 — Accuracy issues and added extra app fluff.

*2026-06-09, version 1.2.1*

The BMI and body fat percent always track to the same number. A recent online search indicate they should almost never be the same. Other scales I use show them completely different along with my weight being off by at least a pound.
With a recent update, the app got dumber. In the past, I could just press on the app icon and go right to the Body scale, now I have to go through the Central Hub every time which thinks I have a Kitchen scale and I don’t. If I add a Kitchen scale (and there is a page for that), then present me with that extra Central Hub screen. Please don’t force me to unnecessarily click through extra buttons every time just to take a weight measurement. And on the Central Hub page, three of the extra buttons indicate, “This feature is not yet available, stay tuned.”

### 3/5 — New intro screen makes a good app not as good

*2026-06-09, version 1.2.1*

App was great and does everything well, until the last update. Now when the app is opened the new intro screen advertising showing their other products shows up for what feels like 10 seconds and cannot be bypassed. What used to be a quick weigh-in now takes much longer. That was a terrible design change.

### 2/5 — Disappointed with app

*2026-06-02, version 1.2.1*

Scale works wells. I like that it shows many aspects of my health. However, the app doesn’t measure up. The app randomly changed my starting weight and there is no way for me to edit to the correct starting weight. Because of this I can’t accurately see my progress.

### 2/5 — Initial weight

*2026-04-18, version 1.1.6*

You can never change your initial weight even if you start a new program. You can delete all the data and it’s still holds onto the initial weight. I have disconnected it from the app and reset everything including removing the batteries and it’s there forever. Also, you can have multiple users, but only the first user links to your Apple ID and it cannot be deleted ever, only additional users can be deleted. You are not able to change who is the main user so if you set up the wrong user in the first spot that person‘s weight is always connected to your Apple ID. Lots of stupid things that you cannot change in the app.

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2026-03-21, version 1.1.6*

Whatever you do. Don’t get a new phone. All you data will be gone!!!

### 3/5 — Doesn’t Sync with Apple Health

*2026-03-11, version 1.1.6*

The directions are straightforward except Precision Hub doesn’t show ask to share with Apple Health

### 1/5 — I can’t register

*2026-03-09, version 1.1.6*

I’m trying to register but it doesn’t allowed me. Ask for mail, password, etc. but the the register button doesn’t activate. :$

### 4/5 — Great scale, app not so

*2026-03-06, version 1.1.6*

App needs improvement. Need to be able to delete or move single data sets and edit initial weight data input. It should be easier to use for multiple people. Auto detection does work well.

### 2/5 — Functional but scummy

*2026-03-02, version 1.1.6*

The World Health Organization’s BMI scale lists obesity as having a BMI of 30.0 or greater. The app sets that threshold much lower at 27. For reference, if you are 5’5” (165 cm), that is a difference of 15 pounds (6.8 kg). The WHO also says that a BMI of under 18.5 as being underweight, but the app lists this as being in “optimum” range.

If you have issues with body image, this seems like it would be pretty detrimental. If this wasn’t a mistake or a gap in communication, I’d argue that a company focused around weight management making you think you’re fatter than you are is like… honestly kind of evil.

### 1/5 — Login

*2026-02-22, version 1.1.6*

App won’t let you login

### 1/5 — Freezes, closes and then wipes out all my information.

*2026-02-20, version 1.1.6*

I just got my scale and downloaded the app yesterday. It’s happened three times - my having to re-enter all of my information as the app will freeze if I try to do anything under the ‘account’. It then closes and wipes out everything I’ve done.
It can only do that so many times before I’m done. Not worth it.
As far as I know, the scale is working ok.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2026-02-18, version 1.1.6*

Unable to register as the register button is disabled. Purchased Taylor scale from Costco but will return for refund. So disappointed.

### 1/5 — Will not let me register.

*2026-02-14, version 1.1.6*

No matter what it will not allow me to register. Worst App I have ever seen

### 1/5 — Screen went to black and white after I loaded app

*2026-02-12, version 1.1.6*

My Screen went to black and white after loading app

### 1/5 — Create Account Loop

*2026-02-06, version 1.1.6*

App always launches Create Account but never saves user data.

### 1/5 — Never works

*2026-06-15, version 1.2.1*

### 1/5 — Like the Scala And App But Connecting to Apple health

*2026-04-20, version 1.1.6*

I like the app and my Taylor scale, but it’s not connected to Apple health so it’s kind of pointless. I couldn’t find any support documentation. I deleted the app reconnected the app. I tried to connect to Fitbit same thing so it’s definitely the Precision Hub. It has the correct permissions and everything.

*2026-04-08, version 1.1.6*

It just doesn’t sync to my device. Garbage

### 1/5 — Rubbish

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2026-04-21, version 1.1.6*

I was skeptical at first after reading the reviews for the scale and app on the Costco page. So many reviews say the app crashes and the app won’t connect. I’ve never had that problem and I think the app is well built and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Cool Product

*2026-04-07, version 1.1.6*

### 5/5 — Works great

*2026-01-12, version 1.1.5*

Bought this scale from Costco Canada. It’s easy to track body fat percentage and other health metrics, and it syncs seamlessly with Apple Health. Simple to use and very convenient.

### 5/5 — Beautiful Design and Works Seamlessly

*2026-01-09, version 1.1.5*

This is the best app and scale I’ve ever used. It’s far better than the brand I used for years. The data is beautifully presented, easy to understand, and the app connects seamlessly every time. Very pleased!

### 5/5 — Lots of useful data

*2025-12-26*

Health metrics are helpful in identifying opportunities for optimizing health and nutrition outcomes. The app paired with the Taylor body composition scale is a powerful pair with lots of data points to give you a detailed picture of your weight, BMI and other data points to document your outcomes vs goals and to spot trends. Excellent app.
