My two minor complaints are the inability to track penalty stokes or bunker shots. Update in late 2024 disabled club distance tracking capability, making this app less useful. Other than that it’s a very good app. ### 4/5 — Precision Pro (Costco Model) *2024-03-15* I bought the Precision Pro Ace device at Costco (no remote version), and it pairs well with this app. After some technical adjustments, I understood how the app functions. I believe the "MySlope" feature calculates distances based on tracked shots. I would appreciate if future updates could include recommendations for which club to use, similar to a virtual caddie. I gave this app a rating less than five stars because I'm struggling to configure it for playing 9-hole rounds. Sometimes that’s all I have time to play. It’s nice but there are no instructions there are lots of problems that you can share a run into without instructions. On the Lead Belt golf course I have to look at whole number 4 to play hole number one. How do I correct this. ### 4/5 — Good, better than most. *2022-08-21* I like the map feature especially for layups and doglegs. Like most cellphone based apps, you need a few extra seconds to make sure the distance isn’t changing. GPS will always be faster and more instantaneous. I like the score keeping feature and the feature where there is a shortcut on your phone Lock Screen. The only bit I don’t love is the R1 laser that is meant to go with the app. Twice my R1 laser trigger switch has busted and needed a replacement. I am on the newest iOS and downloaded the latest app. I have deleted and reinstalled several times with no luck. I get they they are testing the app but it’s super disappointing. Also the search feature is not very user friendly. I feel like searching by zip code or even state should be part of this app. As it stands right now, if you don’t get the club name exactly right you won’t find anything. Trying to make it work on the course was difficult without holding up play.
