## What is Predilux?

Predilux lets you predict the exposure (key light) measured by a light meter, by choosing a light source and a distance. Or inversely measure the distance to the light source by specifying the exposure.
 
Predilux takes into account camera settings (FPS, ISO, Shutter), source settings (Focalization, Lens, Grid, etc.) and gels (Diffusion, CTO/CTB, CTS, +- Green, and dozen of effects).
 
All results have been experimentally verified with a light meter in rental shops. Predilux does not rely on constructor’s data.

Il manque de nombreuses références et l’application ne semble plus être mise à jour depuis au moins trois ans…

My first review ever! But I feel it needs to be said. Concept of the app is great and I have found myself using it here and there when I don’t want to complicate myself with the math and googling the light output of fixtures. However, I feel like no one is working on this app at all anymore. There’s no new lights on here, and I could name so many that are more relevant in the industry that hasn’t been added. It’s a shame as it seems like something they could simply add with a reminder set on their phones each month. Anyway I hope the makers don’t abandon this much longer, once they main popular fixtures are on there it won’t take too much maintenance and that’s what is frustrating. If they ever come back I’ll update this post incase people are interested to buy. Cheers!

Great App, well done and really easy to use. Maybe a little bit expensive for the range of lights options, but I’m sure this will get better.

Je suis un jeune chef op et je m’en sert beaucoup pour faire des listes et des devis.
Comme beaucoup de projeteurs sortent tout le temps et qu’il est quasiment impossible de mesurer correctement la puissance lumineuse d’un nouveau projecteur dans un salon d’exposition je comptais énormément sur cette application être le juge de paix qui m’aiderait à choisir.
Malheureusement il manque des projecteurs cruciaux ce qui est très dommage pour une application à ce tarif. (32 euros c’est très chère pour une appli)
J’aimerais si c’est possible pouvoir comparer avec les autres projecteurs:
Un parapluie Broncolor avec un joker 800
Arri M18 (qui est super populaire)
Alladdin 200 100 et 50
Cineroid FL400 FL800
Cineo true color 450w
Le Mole Richardson TenerLed 1600W et 900 W
Skypanel 120 et 360
DMG Maxi Switch

Avant tout merci pour votre intérêt et votre avis instructif. En effet, il est difficile aujourd’hui de connaitre et de tester tous les nouveaux projecteurs sur le marché. C’est pour cette raison que nous avons choisi de fonctionner à la demande : mise à part une première base classique de sources, chaque ajout se fait en fonction de la demande des utilisateurs. Vous pouvez faire ceci en allant vers "Réglages" (la roue en haut à gauche dans le Predilux) et en appuyant sur 
“Retour d’utilisateur” ou en envoyant un mail directement à predilux@wid.la. 
Concernant les sources qui vous manquent par exemple, nous préparons une mise à jour qui contiendra :
- ARRI M18
- Cineroid FL400
- ARRI SkyPanel 360
- Découpe D’Artagnan HMI 2.5kW
- Aladin BiFlex 30x120 et 30x60
