Could be great but appears very little care has gone into it. Currently all today’s on demand games appear available but won’t play, just says source unavailable. Streaming quality is pretty low too when things do work. Would pay double if more effort was put into the platform. ### 1/5 — Dreadful app *2026-04-04, version 10.37* I took out a Premier Sports subscription to watch their Champions cup coverage, and whilst the rugby is professionally delivered, the viewing experience through the app is dreadful. It is decades behind other apps (e.g TNT), with the playback functionality especially poor, and often not loading for me. I often have my live coverage interrupted by a notification to accept cookies. If you want to watch on your phone good luck as it’s gonna keep sending you the cookie pop up every 2 mins. Simply not a good app ### 1/5 — Written by a 12 year old *2026-02-28, version 10.36* This app is by far the worst player I’ve ever come across. When watching a match other than live you will become familiar with the “Preparing video for playback” screen, which means 50% of the time it will not restart. If that wasn’t bad enough, when you eventually give up and close the video, there’s no option to restart from where you’d got to. An app out of the 19th century. ### 1/5 — Can’t cast or screen mirror *2026-02-15, version 10.36* Everytime I try to screen mirror and massive black block covers half the screen saying casting and won’t go, and when I try to cast it says no devices found, every other app works, waste of money and missed the NASCAR now, rubbish ### 1/5 — Worst sports app ever *2026-01-19, version 10.13* This really is dreadful for the cost. You can only watch on one device at a time, so if your partner wants to watch something while you want to watch something else, you can’t. You are also forced to watch adverts especially when watching on demand stuff. For over £100 a year this is very poor. The coverage itself is ok, nothing special but the app keeps stalling and resetting itself, then you have to go through the sign in process again using your phone. Absolute garbage. No wonder people are buying chipped Fire sticks if this rubbish is the alternative. ### 1/5 — I would give zero stars if I could *2025-12-31, version 10.13* The app is not fit for purpose. It would not work on my smart TV, so I cancelled my subscription, and because they need 30 days notice, I got billed for 2 months of an app I couldn’t use. Just awful , it just doesn’t work. Only gave it one star as I cannot give it any less otherwise I would give it a negative 5 ! ### 1/5 — Probably the worst sports app in the world *2026-08-03, version 10.49* The year is 2026 and this app is an embarrassment. I’ve used apps for sports in other countries during a bit of travelling I did, and they were all superior to this. You can’t even stay logged into it on one device. No Apple TV app either. As for the quality, awful, and regularly cuts out too. Utterly embarrassing to have the rights to so much top level sport and not provide it properly for fans. Ridiculous ### 1/5 — Known issues still remain after all these years *2026-05-13, version 10.37* Returned back after 2 years still this app on iOS can’t get the screen orientation right when watching in landscape , still watching some sport the screen just suddenly stops streaming or live broadcast no buffering just stops . Watching on the website is a big improvement . Your putting all this money into the sports rights for rugby Scottish football international football and nascar how about finding a app developer that can build or fix the player app on IOS ### 1/5 — Irritating app *2026-05-02, version 10.37* The app continually pings up the cookie accept or reject page. It’s happened about 30 times in the last hour. App is updated to the latest version and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch. Annoying as hell ### 1/5 — Poor Application *2026-05-01, version 10.37* A high cost subscription for an app that rarely works and is very clunky. Such a shame as a lot of the sports content is great ### 1/5 — Very poor performance *2026-04-26, version 10.37* Given that Premier Sports hold the streaming rights for some major sporting competitions, this app is not up to the standard it should be. I have used this ipadOS app on and off for about 3 years and there has been no noticeable effort to improve the user experience during that time. As other reviews have stated, upon opening the main screen is set to portrait- quite bizarre for a video based app - this only changes once you load a show - so if you have your iPad on a stand, you will need a neck like a flamingo to comfortably adjust between views! The even bigger problem than that though, is if you dare to pause your show mid-play or your screen turns off, etc...you will have to restart the programme from the beginning else all you will see is 'preparing video for playback' which typically goes on indefinitely. When you do restart and try to move to your last position then dont move forward in big increments else it will hang again. This applies to both live shows and replays: incredibly frustrating for a paid streaming app. If it wasn't for the fact they hold the monopoly to URC, Top 14 and European Rugby Cups then I would ditch them in a heartbeat. ### 1/5 — Anyone considered user experience!!! *2026-04-10, version 10.37* Of all streaming services i use this has to be the most irritating. I must be on the 20th ‘link my tv’ of the season which is required every time i watch something of god forbid move to a different room. I have tried contacting customer support but the access point is set up to route to a prompt saying the office is closed, no matter when you call. ### 5/5 — Fantastic coverage *2021-04-19* A thought the coverage was great for the old firm was fantastic to watch and see all the diffferent opinions on show, only complaint I have of this company is I couldn’t get through to them at anytime on the phone yesterday they were to busy, had to pay for it and watch it on my phone. ### 5/5 — Crashing since a day *2020-12-29* Hi, last time was sunday when i watched a match casted to the tv no issues at all. Never had any issues before but today if i click on a channel the app just crashes landing me on my homescreen. Update: figured out, app crashes on mobile network, working fine on wifi. I think it might have to do something with the update. Phone settings all okay, was working fine before. Update: everything works fine with the new update. It will put you right into the live game. But, upside is the subscription cost is good for what you get. For that it gets 4 stars. ### 3/5 — Does the job but lacks basic features *2026-08-27, version 10.49* Ok so the app does the job when it comes to watching stuff but it lacks basic features so much, you should have options in the account part of the app to manage and see certain things for your account, the iPad version needs landscape mode badly!! Guessing what channels are what on the Home Screen is also a pain and the tv guide part needs to allow you to click on that channels to pull up the live stream as they arent labelled on the Home Screen when something is live, the live now tab is absolutely pointless when whatever is live will already be listed on the Home Screen, like i said, decent app but needs re organising and requires simple things to be added. ### 3/5 — Air-Play is not an option with Premier Sport? *2025-04-14, version 9.1* I am writing here because customer support doesn’t seem to work. Trying to watch the Baff vs Glawster game yesterday and just couldn’t get the iPad to cast to my private TV.
