## What is Premiere?

"What should we watch?" — Premiere is the app that answers it.

STACK IT — Group films into stacks: Saturday Night, the ones your friend swears by, the classics you keep meaning to get to. Stacks look like a pile of VHS tapes on a shelf, and they fill up as you watch. Share one and build it together, or send it view-only.

SWIPE — Build a watchlist from films you actually want to see. Right to save, left to dismiss. Tap a card to flip it over for the story behind the film, where it's streaming, and the trailer. Filter by genre, decade, or curated lists like Horror Night and Golden Age — and when a filter runs thin, Premiere finds more films that match.

STANDOFF — Still can't decide? Set tonight's mood, deal the bracket, and knock films out head to head until one is left standing. Tonight's Pick gets the gold frame. Run it over your whole watchlist or over a single stack.

WATCH & REMEMBER — Rate what you watched, keep notes, and build a history you can sort, search, and filter. Your streak shows the week you're in, with the poster of whatever you watched on each day — tap through to a calendar and tap any day to see the film.

FRIENDS, IF YOU WANT THEM — Claim an @name so friends can find you. Follow someone to see what they have watched, how they rated it, and the stacks they choose to show. Their films turn up in your deck, marked with who watched them. No feed, no comments, no likes — just what the people you know are actually watching.

YOURS, PRIVATELY — Your library lives on your device, and Premiere works fully without an account. Signing in is optional and only ever adds: new profiles start private, your watch notes never leave your phone, and you pick which stacks appear. No ads, no tracking. Works offline after the first setup.

Sign in with Apple, claim an @name, and friends can find you by name or by a link you send them. Follow someone to see what they have watched, how they rated it, and the stacks they choose to show. Their films turn up in your deck, marked with who watched them. There is no feed, no comments and no likes — just what the people you know are actually watching.

New profiles start private, your watch notes never leave your phone, and an account stays optional.

Also in this update: a tidier Me tab with hours watched and your busiest month, a jump-back-to-top button on your watchlist, and a second look at films you skipped a long time ago.
