Will definitely be using your services again! ### 5/5 — Professional punctual and honest *2022-09-25, version 1.1.33* These guys are truly a lifesaver yesterday a pipe broke in our bathroom and started spraying water all over the place they were able to have somebody out to us late Saturday night. first thing he did was shut off the main so the water stop spraying everywhere then he opened up a small area of the wall cut the main line to the upstairs bathroom and put a shut off valve so that we could have water in the rest of our house while this is getting fixed. Very smart guy I would’ve never thought of that it’s now a few hours later and everything is fixed besides our bathroom is destroyed we at least have running water in the house I plan on using Premium Home Service for the restoration as well considering how well this service went thank you again to everyone who is involved in helping me and my family tonight we truly appreciate you. ### 5/5 — Well deserved five stars *2022-09-19, version 1.1.33* Late last night my my wife was doing dishes and putting things away when she accidentally knocked a pot into the drain below the sink and it broke we called our regular guy he was not available but he recommended we use Premium Home Service. Did technician came out gave us a very reasonable estimate had all of the replacement elbows as he called them on his van and was done in 30 minutes he was nice enough to let us borrow his large air mover fan for the night to dry out our cabinet I just woke up and the cabinet is completely dry everything looks brand new I highly recommend them they do great work and they were recommended by my local plumber. ### 5/5 — Good service *2022-09-15, version 1.1.32* My experience with Premium Home Service was very smooth. The technician explained everything and gave me an estimate. I submitted a service request to have my garage door repaired. The technician Jacob called me about 20 minutes later and we set a time. He showed up as promised with all the parts necessary on his truck. One hour later my garage was back in service. They tech was super nice and did and great job just the time saved being able to book on the app vs calling around I game changing good job Dan and good job PHS. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — SCAM ALERT *2022-08-09, version 1.1.32* Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews. NEVER give your money to this company. They claim to be a local plumbing company but as soon as you pay for a membership, you can track your job through an app. At this point, they interact with you as a completely different company called PREMIUM HOME SERVICE. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau site. Over 50 horrendous reviews. They are deceptive and exploitative. They will ask you for money upfront, promise an appointment right away, then give you the run around. If they actually send someone, beware! They are infamous for charging incredibly more than they quote you. If you have a problem, they will not let you speak to a manager, billing department, or anyone else. All they can do is relay your concern that NEVER gets addressed. Luckily, I paid with credit and was able to dispute the charge and have it investigated. But many people have sadly never gotten refunds. I know it may be tempting to try them out because their prices seem to be cheaper than other plumbing services, but don’t do it! You will regret it. ### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Your Time or Money *2022-07-12, version 1.0.19* This company offers what appears to be a great service. But all they want is the annual service fee. I had a plumber out who “couldn’t do the job alone” and told me he would be back tomorrow. Then he no showed. I called the company and they scheduled me for the following Monday. He no showed. Then scheduled me for Tuesday, he no showed again. It took me 3 calls to cancel my service agreement and I’m still waiting on a confirmation email. On top of that, the plumber left my sump pit open and backup battery casing open. This company will bounce you from out-of-the country service reps repeatedly and there is amazingly never a supervisor on duty who can actually help. STAY AWAY. ### 1/5 — Over priced and don’t honor their contract. *2022-04-30, version 1.0.12* Signed up for this for a small house job. Had the plumber come over and they are frighteningly over priced for the work. In addition they say a seven day trial but it’s not a trial. The contract says they won’t charge you util day seven but I got charged on day one. Call to talk about about the issues and the customer service rep was unwilling to do anything and hung up on me. Don’t use! ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-04-21, version 1.0.9* Scam company using fake local businesses as front. Took my money and then would not refund claiming the agreement I signed for the promotion (actually a subscription) states no refunds. It actually clearly states I could receive a refund within the free 7 day trial and I was within that. They also charged my card immediately when it also says they wouldn’t charge until the 7 days had passed. They don’t honor their own agreement and try to tell you that you are not allowed to dispute any charges. I have no idea who came to my house in an un marked, no license plate vehicle for hvac service. Thankfully nothing was done but he did try to get more money out of me being a service fee which I pointed out I signed up for their “promotion” that I couldn’t cancel. He said he could see a refund request which contradicts what I was told that I couldn’t get one. So was he just claiming that to get me to pay an additional fee they will refuse to return? I think so. PHS and the fake company are not licensed in my state, the addresses are other businesses and google reviews are fake. I’m sure these other good reviews here are fake too! ### 1/5 — SCAM *2022-03-23, version 1.0.7* Sketchy contractors who don’t show up (I’ve had 4 no-shows) If they do, they complain about this service and demand a 20% tip. Zero communication w admin, Angie will just forward your call making it impossible to cancel service. They have no voicemail. I would never recommend this service in a million years. Just use google and find a reputable contractor. ### 1/5 — SCAM ALERT!!! *2022-03-18, version 1.0.7* Do not use this company!! BEWARE they pose as local companies in your area and get you to pay them over the phone. They take your money and never show up. I thought I was dealing with a local company in my area and it turned out to be these people. They advertised under a completely different name. I am working on getting the money back that they took from my credit card. I have also put in a complaint with the BBB. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!! I can’t believe this app is available since it is a SCAM!! ### 1/5 — No value *2022-02-09, version 1.0.7* I wouldn’t exactly call it a scam like others have but it provides less value than just looking for somebody on google. The technicians sent by the app booking were not competent and did not actually guarantee their work (i could never get them to come back to fix a mistake they made that they said was covered). The issue I see with this app is that techs have zero incentive to do a good job b/c there is no brand or rating attached to them - within the context of the app they are all interchangeable. Also the 149 a year fee is completely not worth it. If you didn’t notice most of the reviews are fake for this app. ### 1/5 — Do NOT book with this place! SCAM. *2022-02-04, version 1.0.7* I cannot believe this place has any good reviews. Like others, I called an (apparently) non-existent local company and was routed here. My experience has been nothing but unprofessional the entire way through. I had a drywall appointment scheduled and no one ever showed up or even bothered to call me. For two weeks, I called the office and asked to have it rescheduled. Every time, I was told that a "manager" would call me back. No one ever called me back. The last time I called in, the "customer service associate" HUNG UP on me, and that was the last straw. I had been talked into paying for "Premium" service. When I signed up, I had to sign a form saying that I wouldn't initiate any chargebacks for fees. At the time, I wondered why they needed to say that so explicitly. Now I know. I finally spoke to someone today who agreed to refund the Premium charge and cancel my account. Never again. Do NOT book with this place. Do NOT give them any of your money. ### 1/5 — Poor Service *2021-09-30, version 1.0.7* I had attempted to schedule an HVAC cleaning with a local company and was talked into purchasing this service. The technicians did not show up within their window, and then never showed up. I called to cancel my membership as I was within the 7 days to do so, and was advised that they “had listened to a call” where I was told my services were rescheduled for today. There is no record of this call in my phone’s history. The person on the phone kept calling me “ma’am” even though I don’t sound like a woman and I corrected her - so I’m lead to believe the call that she listened to wasn’t even me. I told her to cancel my membership and I’m still currently waiting for the confirmation of cancellation. ### 1/5 — Scam Company *2021-08-20, version 1.0.5* The very first thing they do in no time is charging 149$ premium fee. Then nobody shows up at your door unless you keep calling many many time. If you have an emergency job, just forget it and call somebody else. Their plumber eventually showed up 4 days after they scheduled it. They told me a lie when they wanted to provide a quote. I talked to their plumber and he said he has not taken a look yet to see what the problem is to give a real estimate. They just said our plumber has fully investigated, and they said we will charge over 600$ for the job. I canceled it. Later, I paid 199$ to another plumber to fix it fully. **Developer response:** I'm sorry you had this experience and would like to investigate to find out where things went wrong. I made the appointment today and he was here today, the other places I called all said it would be a few days until they could send someone out. Would have probably cost the same for the work that was done. Ben was nice and professional. I signed up for the membership so if something goes wrong I know I will be taken care of. ### 5/5 — EASY APP TO USE HELPING ME SAVE HOURS ON PROPERTY MANAGEMENT *2023-12-07* property managers such as myself have the responsibility of calling out different contractors and companies to fix things all the time. Looking to not get scammed I’ll call out a company write down there quote and call out a second one to see if the first one was fair. All of this searching and calling changed once I found this app, tech comes out sends me a quote a quarter the price of the last company and has it fixed that same day. Since then I’ve used PHS 17 times for plumbing ac and electrical jobs at the condos and have never been happier as if I just got retired early by an app. (Please don’t show my boss this or I’ll probably lose my healthcare and salary) I haven’t gone into the office in months have been able to pay through the app ☺️ ### 5/5 — Happy park ridge client *2023-09-04* I live in Park Ridge and I have seen the PHS trucks on my block before. with my AC not turning on today. I googled them and decided to give them a try They did a fantastic job on my restaurant they came out quickly diagnose the problem got me a price and got the job done upon my approval you can trust them with your heating air conditioning and plumbing i’m having them do another job for me tomorrow at my home thanks PHS ### 5/5 — Great for ac repair and security cameras *2023-08-23* We use premium home service to fix our AC about a week ago mid August 2023. we had a issue at our house A few days later, and we wanted security cameras premium home service. I had a technician out to our house. He did a great job installing our security cameras. explaining how to use them, explaining how to use the app he was fantastic spent basically two full days with us I am now an expert on my security camera app. I can’t even zoom in on my neighbors I love it, and I highly recommend it ### 5/5 — Fast service *2023-07-19* Our kitchen lights i’ve been having issues since March we had two companies look at it, as well as my father-in-law who is very handy we literally had it plugged in lights for our kitchen over the last month through a friend I found out about Premium Home Service they came up to my house for a estimate and diagnostic this morning at 8 AM it’s now 930 and half of the lights are back workingHe said he will be done with the rest as soon as he gets back from the supply house no need to say more. This guy is amazing. ### 5/5 — Robert was the man who got it done *2023-07-18* After calling out multiple companies to fix my air conditioner and all of them telling me it needed to be replaced I continue to look for someone who could repair it due to it being in a attic space above one of my bathrooms it was a complicated spot and easily $25,000 after all said and done they would also have to tear into a wall which had a mural that my wife drewNeedless to say, I finally found premium home service. They were able to have the technician come out who then had his father come outAnd they got my old system running. All of them said they do not work on high efficiency mini split choosing Premium Home Service was the best decision we ever made. They were on time professional, and explained every step of the process. They got the job done quick from start to finish and had everything clean when they were done.
