### 5/5 — Great!

*2017-04-22*

I've never played Dragon Quest, but this is kinda how I imagined it

### 5/5 — Retro greatness as promised

*2017-01-30*

The folks in Higashihiroshima have nailed it with this one - a beautiful Final Fantasy clone that is fun to play and will keep you occupied for many hours. Great musical score, pixellated graphics (I love pixels, and I want to see 'em), and multiple endings. I've just finished playing and now I want a sequel...

### 5/5 — *snuggle*

### 5/5 — Great game

*2016-11-14*

So far I'm very impressed with this game.

### 5/5 — Game awesome

*2016-11-08*

It's so cool and fun

### 5/5 — Nice little throwback

*2016-10-25*

This game has a bit more to it than I first expected. As always, the stuff published by Kemco delivers and they make it a good experience without shoving IAPs in your face.

Although the ads in the free versions go overboard as you progress. The $5 is worth it, especially since these games are some of the only ones that aren't just ports or stage-based free games.

### 5/5 — Mr

*2016-10-20, version 1.0.0*

Great nostalgic game, love it

### 5/5 — More consistent rpg fun

*2016-10-18*

I always look forward to new releases by Kotobuki, since they have a reputation for quality games that will last me for a while. I'm not a fan of pixel art, but underneath the system is as fun as all their previous games of late. The job system gives me lots of stuff to grind, and there's plenty of humor even if the story is simple. Giving me another 10 to 15 hours of entertainment when I want to relax a bit is all I ever ask for.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 3/5 — Sluggish pacing and boring.

*2016-12-11*

The quests are all the same: do something to get a new party member. It just bored me after a while as well. Sure, I like the old retro graphics, but this just bored me.

### 4/5 — Got my snug on

*2018-02-10*

A snug tastic adventure

### 4/5 — Fun

*2016-11-11*

Fun throw back.

### 4/5 — Retro RPG

*2016-10-14, version 1.0.0*

Nice old fashion rpg games. Wish the control a bit smoother I guess...

### 5/5 — I was “tricked”

*2019-12-24*

This is a great game truly but left a review for the snuggle

### 5/5 — Interesting Take On The Job System

*2019-05-27*

I quite like how the reward for completing a sidequest and recruiting a new character isn’t just another warm body in the party, but also another new character class to make use of. I just wish that the team leaders were also capable of changing jobs.

### 5/5 — Great so far

*2018-12-18*

Feels a lot like the old dragon quests with several quality of life improvements. Play it on hard its much more interesting.

### 5/5 — I got tricked lol

### 5/5 — A great little RPG

*2017-08-28*

It takes me back to the Phantasy Star and Final Fantasy days on the NES. The storyline is fairly ordinary, but their take on the job system is quite creative. Good job, product managers!

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Jobs!

*2017-08-21*

The jobs system is very rewarding. Especially being able to keep the main passive ability for each job learned. It also has a good team system that has a fun combo with the jobs system.
