It works… But…
The app is very simple. It works for file renaming I want to do by allowing date_custom text_number sequence… but it does not synch to Iphone 16 pro camera. You have to use the camera from within the app, and it limits the camera functions significantly. Also you have to click “use photo” for each photo taken. So you cannot do rapid shots. Not practical for action etc…

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, on iOS it isn’t possible to directly control the iPhone’s native camera. As you pointed out, this app doesn’t support continuous shooting. We tried several approaches, but couldn’t find a way to achieve burst mode like the standard camera.
Windows Import Issue
This seems to be the only app to pre-name photos, but there is an issue when importing into windows: the image file name gets lost and replaced with a random name. Another comment mentioned this issue as well, hopefully there’s a fix since I can’t import to Windows with this.

Hi, can you try to download images from the "download" button on the top right? Plugging in phone to PC directly cannot stay file name.

Almost perfect. Unfortunately it still won’t bring the picture over to windows with the correct name. Updated to 4 stars because the developer is awesome and took time to try to fix the issue. Thank you!

The issue is that after I rename the photos, I import them (hundreds of them at a time) via a cord directly between an iPhone (running latest update) and a windows computer (also up-to-date), the naming is lost and replaced with jibberish.
