## What is Preplexity?

Preplexity is a complete study companion for IT certification exams. One
app, 29 certifications across 7 vendors: CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft Azure,
Cisco, Google Cloud, ISC2, and ISACA - including A+, Network+, Security+,
CySA+, PenTest+, AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect, AZ-900,
AZ-104, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CCSP, and more.

EXAM SIMULATOR
Timed, full-length practice exams that mirror the real thing - question
counts, time limits, passing scores, and domain weightings modeled on
each certification's actual exam guide. Finish with a pass/fail verdict
and a per-domain score report.

PRACTICE MODE
Untimed practice with instant feedback and clear explanations on every
question - including why each wrong answer is wrong. Answer choices are
shuffled so you learn the material, not the option positions. Weak areas
get resurfaced automatically so you review what you actually miss.

SMART FLASHCARDS
Spaced-repetition flashcards (Leitner system): rate each card Again,
Hard, or Easy and the deck reschedules itself around what you find
difficult.

STUDY MATERIALS
Concise study topics organized by exam domain, with native diagrams -
process flows, hierarchies, lifecycles, and comparisons - built for
small screens, not scanned PDFs.

READINESS SCORE
A per-course readiness score blends your practice results, simulator
performance, and study completion - weighted by each exam's official
domain percentages - so you know when you're ready to book the exam.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Per-domain mastery, streaks, XP, badges, exam history, and a 12-week
study heatmap show exactly where you stand and what to study next.

Preplexity is an independent study tool. CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft, Cisco,
Google Cloud, ISC2, and ISACA are trademarks of their respective owners;
Preplexity is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-22

This update is all about question quality - and four new certifications.

NEW CERTIFICATIONS
• ISACA joins Preplexity: AAIA (Advanced in AI Audit), AAIR (AI Risk),
  and AAISM (AI Security Management)
• CompTIA SecAI+ - security for the AI era

SMARTER QUESTIONS
• Answer choices are now shuffled for every question, so option position
  never gives the answer away
• Rewrote answer options across the entire question bank to remove
patterns (like the longest option being correct) that let you guess
  without knowing the material
• Fixed questions where the marked answer didn't match the explanation

With 29 certifications across CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cisco,
Google Cloud, ISC2, and ISACA - if it's on your cert path, it's here.

- 3 new certifications (CompTia Tech+, CompTia PenTest+, CompTia CySa+)
