### 4/5 — Good app, too expensive

*2026-04-24*

It is a great app. Very informative and a great study tool however the premium is prohibitively expensive! These are designed for students and many of us are struggling financially. Passing these tests can be a path to a new and better career but in the meantime not everyone can afford the upgrade. I’d love to continue using this app but unfortunately it just costs too much.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words! We know the journey to certification is already a big investment, and we take that seriously. Prepry users consistently pass on their first attempt, and that outcome is what we build every feature around. Hope to keep supporting you on your path to passing!

### 5/5 — A students dream

*2025-10-30*

I absolutely love this app. I recommend watching all of the videos first if you buy the subscription and then doing the questions it really helps. Take advantage of the AI explanation. I was having trouble with the app and their live tech person went back and forth with me to help me. Shout out Luis. Thanks so much, studying is already so stressful and knowing that you guys take extra steps to make things go smoothly really helps!!!

**Developer response:** Reviews like this mean everything to our team. So happy we could be part of your journey and that the support experience made a difference. We're always here when you need us, now go crush that exam!

### 5/5 — Great resource!

*2025-08-04, version 2.2.91*

This app was very helpful for me during my radiography class. Very practical and efficient. Definitely recommend this app to everyone!

### 5/5 — I passed my SPI

*2025-07-24, version 2.2.91*

I passed my SPI on the first try the questions in this app really prepare you for the exam

### 4/5 — Prepry

*2025-07-11*

The practice questions on Prepry, along with explanations and performance tracking, were very helpful in reviewing important topics and identifying areas where I needed improvement. These tools will help me build confidence and be more prepared for the board exam. Although it would be useful to be able to easily change what level I’m on because I am a first year but am getting 2nd year questions

**Developer response:** Thanks so much, Shamira! We’re happy the questions, explanations, and tracking are helping. Great note on leveling/filters, try Quiz Builder plus the Unseen/Incorrect/Learning filters to target exactly what you need. We’re also working on smarter difficulty controls. If you have ideas, we’d love to hear them at support@prepry.com. – The Prepry Team

### 5/5 — Great pocket study resource.

*2025-07-08*

One thing about Prepry that I greatly appreciate is that it’s a mobile app. With all my responsibilities, I’m not always at home and I would love to study on the go without the struggle of navigating a browser website (which more often than not are barely made accessible through mobile devices without a-lot of extra effort). And while I haven’t explored all of Prepry’s features due to the sheer amount of them, I appreciate how condensed they are and easy to access. I also really enjoy how you’re able to isolate the topics you’re having a hard time with and review them over and over!

**Developer response:** Appreciate the thoughtful review, Luna! We designed Prepry to be fast, focused, and easy to study anywhere. Thanks for being part of the community. – The Prepry Team

### 5/5 — GREAT Student resource!

*2025-07-08*

I was given the opportunity to use this app during my my first year in radiology school and I can say that it is 100% helpful! I’m so excited for the fellow students or teachers that chooses to use this platform as it implements many helpful features and informative studies.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the awesome review! We’re excited Prepry helped in your first year and that the features felt truly useful. Keep us posted on how we can keep improving. – The Prepry Team

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2025-06-26*

1. Some questions/answers are conflicting and even some things that are not found in the Edelman book.
2. There is no way to filter your questions to the “remaining questions”. I would constantly get some of the same questions which is annoying. Also there are repeat questions of the SAME question/answer. Some of the questions under “remaining questions” are questions I’ve been asked, multiple times.
3. Explanation option is sometimes not specific enough to the question at hand.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the candid feedback, Michelle. We take concerns about conflicting answers, repetition, and explanation depth seriously. We’re auditing items, improving explanations, and expanding filters (including “remaining”-style targeting). If you can email specific question IDs or screenshots to support@prepry.com, we’ll investigate and fix them quickly. – The Prepry Team

### 5/5 — Log in issues

*2025-04-30, version 2.2.91*

Trouble logging in on the app but not on safari.

### 5/5 — Passed my SPI !!

*2025-01-19, version 2.2.91*

Passed on first try with the help of this app and green book. Just do the questions and try to get all “Learned” , but make sure to start early. Don’t wait til your a month out. Also utilized for Adult Echo but it’s not as detailed as it is for SPI.

### 5/5 — Best resource ever

*2025-01-18*

I don’t usually take the time and write a review I just give 5 stars and move on, but I had to do it for the creators of Prepry. Thank you so much for the best DMS study source ever. I passed my SPI, Abdomen and RVT with Prepry being my main study resource. The best thing about it is it’s a phone app I study any time, any where. Once again, THANK YOU!

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the awesome review, and huge congrats on passing SPI, Abdomen, and RVT! 🎉 We’re thrilled Prepry was your go-to study resource on the go. We’ll keep working to make it even better. Wishing you continued success! – The Prepry Team

### 4/5 — I passed the SPI

*2025-01-01, version 2.2.91*

I got the app and paid for a month. Used it mainly because it was convenient. I used this and the green book for real studying. This app has good straight forward questions like some versions of the SPI. But I would mainly recommend this for the Doppler images.

### 2/5 — Does not prepare you for SPI

*2024-12-31, version 2.2.91*

I took the SPI and passed on the first try, but I can't credit this app. The SPI is NOTHING like Prepry's questions. The SPI questions are much, much more difficult so I do not recommend this app. I wish I did not spend money on this. Use the green book and ultrasound board review on YouTube (specifically for Doppler)

### 3/5 — My go-to study tool while in my CVS program

*2024-12-03*

Update #2: unfortunately I’ve had this problem since I started using the app: if I change the course focus to anything besides Physics, it will always revert back to Physics after I close the app and reopen. I’ve passed the SPI so now I’m focusing on CCI and ARDMS and every time I open the app, it defaults to Physics instead of keeping it on the last used course (CCI or ARDMS in my case). It’s a slight annoyance but it would be nice to have it fixed.

Updated #1: they fixed the formatting on iPhone mini 13, and they did so very quickly! Thank you Prepry team :)

This is my go to study tool while in my Cardiac Sonography program. I’m using it for the SPI and the ARDMS. I have no doubt I’ll pass em because of this app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your updated review! We're thrilled to hear that the formatting issue on the iPhone 13 Mini was resolved swiftly and to your satisfaction. It's wonderful to know that our app is your go-to study tool for your Cardiac Sonography program and for the SPI and ARDMS exams. Your confidence in our app is greatly appreciated, and we're here to support you every step of the way in your journey to success. Best wishes for your exams, and don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@prepry.com if you need any further assistance!

### 5/5 — Passed my Obgyn registry

*2024-08-31, version 2.2.91*

I failed my obgyn exam twice and ended up finally passing. I loved this app it helped me so much and actually asked good relevant questions. Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Helped me pass my exam!!!

*2024-08-07, version 2.2.91*

The spi is so similar to this

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Absolute GEM for physics registry and cardiac sonography exam BUT…

*2026-06-30, version 3.3.7*

Will charge you again without giving clear explanation on how to cancel it. Link.com (apparently the website that charged me the first time) without warning just took my money from card for a recurring subscription. When I had tried to manage my subscription in prepry, it just says “institutional subscription”. What does that mean and how am I supposed to cancel it? I would monitor your subscription closely and don’t just assume you aren’t paying for next year just because there’s no payment option showing in the billing’s page. Horrible web interface and deceitful

### 1/5 — Variety

*2026-02-15*

PREPRY is good for question variety and exposure to mixed topics, and it does a solid job simulating the randomness of board-style questioning. However, it frequently introduces rare terms, obscure eponyms, and diseases that many students have never encountered in primary study materials.

If you are using it strictly for exposure and test-style practice, it can be helpful.

If you are trying to actively learn and build familiarity organ by organ, it is frustrating. The platform does not allow you to isolate specific organs or systems for focused study, which makes it difficult to reinforce new vocabulary and concepts in a structured way. For students still consolidating content, the fully mixed format can feel overwhelming rather than educational.

It would be significantly improved by offering an option to study by organ system in addition to full exam simulation mode.

**Developer response:** Thank you for this detailed feedback, it genuinely helps us improve. The ability to filter by organ system is something we hear and we're actively working on making the study experience more structured for focused review. If you'd like to share more, reach out to us at support@prepry.com, we'd love to help you get the most out of the platform.

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS FOR THE SPI

*2026-01-05*

I am currently studying for the SPI, which I take in three days. I chose PREPPRY based on strong recommendations from multiple peers, specifically because I wanted a platform that would track my performance, identify weak areas, and give me meaningful statistics on questions I get right and wrong.
Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating.
Each time I take a practice exam, the system glitches and fails to record my progress correctly. When I log back in, it consistently shows zero progress, claims I have studied for only one day, and reports that I have learned zero questions, with 1,150 new questions remaining. This is completely inaccurate. I have had this service for about a month and have taken at least 15 practice exams, working through approximately 800 questions.
On top of the tracking issues, I have identified serious content errors, I have had to email PREPPRY about nearly 10 questions in which the marked “correct” answer was wrong—or where no correct answer existed at all. For a service designed to prepare students for a high-stakes exam, this is COMPLETELY unacceptable.
This exam is important, stressful, and expensive. Students rely on review platforms like this for accuracy and reliability. The combination of persistent technical failures and incorrect questions makes this service unreliable and, frankly, disappointing. If negative ratings were possible, that is what I would give.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-12-30, version 3.1.8*

I’m not happy that Prepry for iPad doesn’t support split screen

### 1/5 — Waist of time and money

*2024-06-28, version 2.2.91*

I didn’t pass my Spi, none of the questions were similar even the pictures, not helpful at all, I would just stick with the green book. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — The worst app ever

*2024-05-03, version 2.2.91*

I paid about 120 dollars and got 86% but in actual testing even one question was not from this app

### 1/5 — Not working

*2024-04-09, version 2.2.5*

The SPI Video Course is not working. Is says error while playing video. I emailed but still haven’t received a response.

### 1/5 — Do not waste money

*2024-04-01*

when I tried to pass the mock exam, the answers showed big bugs. The percentages are shown incorrectly. Because some correct answers in the application are marked as incorrect. That is, your answer is correct, but the application writes that it is incorrect, and the correct answer is the same as the incorrect one. How can you prepare for the exam? I took two paid subscriptions for two months, and all my mock exams showed me the wrong result. I am writing to say that I want my money back. I sent them a screenshot with all the bugs, I sent them twice. But there is no result. No refund, no solution to the problem. I'm still waiting for a refund. I don't know how to add a screenshot here. But I have a proof.

**Developer response:** We sincerely apologize for the experience you've had with our app, and we understand the frustration this has caused. Our team values the accuracy and reliability of our study materials, including the mock exams, and we're concerned to hear about the issues you've encountered.

Could you please contact us again at support@prepry.com? This way, we can ensure a dedicated member of our team follows up on your case specifically.

Bug Investigation: We take reports of technical issues seriously. Upon receiving your detailed feedback and screenshots, our development team will investigate the bugs reported in the mock exams and work diligently to correct them.

We're here to support your exam preparation journey, and your success is important to us. Let's work together to resolve this. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to hearing from you.

### 1/5 — Incorrect answers.

*2024-02-03, version 2.2.0*

I have repetitively reported them & they’re still not fixed. I included my email so they can get back to me but never did…
I.E.
“Which chamber of the heart is closest to the descending aorta?

A. Left atrium
B. Left ventricle
C. Right atrium
D. Left atrium. “

Of course it’s either A or D… but the app only considers one of them correct… this is not the only question like this…

### 1/5 — Failed

*2024-01-23, version 2.1.2*

The questions are nothing similar to the actual SPI. Prepry questions are too easy compared to SPI where it is just worded differently and more complicated. The image pictures on Prepry is nothing like the ones in the SPI. Save your time and money and just read the Edelman book and watch YouTube Videos.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great way to study

### 5/5 — Best Educational System

*2026-06-11, version 3.3.7*

The Prepry Echocardiography System stands out as one of the most effective tools for preparing for sonography exams. It offers high-quality questions, clear explanations, and intelligent progress tracking, making it a preferred choice for those seeking to pass with confidence.

### 5/5 — PASSED THE SPI FIRST TRY !!

*2026-06-04, version 3.3.7*

I only did about 2 weeks of concentrated studying using the video review, study blocks, and taking a couple of mock exams. The way the questions are worded on Prepry are very similar to the SPI question. Good luck to everyone!!

### 5/5 — I passed the SPI!!!

*2026-06-02*

Having this app on my phone with a single click was really useful. The option of 10 short questions helped me pay attention to the topics every time I had the chance, the introduction of the videos is really amazing, since I can play them while driving and use them as a podcast about ultrasound. Soon I will present the ARRT and I am using its features to prepare myself and get the best result. Thank you Prepy for having all the resources designed for the students.

**Developer response:** This is so great to hear! Using the videos like a podcast is such a smart way to study on the go. Now go crush that ARRT, we've got you covered for that one too!

### 5/5 — Passed SPI with Prepry

*2026-05-29, version 3.3.5*

This app serious helped tremendously with passing the SPI. This was my #1 study tool and passed with a high 600s on first try.

### 5/5 — Build confidence

*2026-05-03, version 3.2.10*

It’s helping me see where I am weak and need more study time.

### 5/5 — Great exam prep

*2026-01-07, version 3.1.8*

If you read the questions to understand not to memorize you will pass any exam. The videos and quizzes are really that good

### 5/5 — Loveeee

*2025-12-17, version 3.1.8*

This app is such a great resource in preparing for the SPI. Mock exams are very similar to the actual SPI. I like how accessible it is for the amount of time you have to study. I passed on the first try using this as a main study tool.

### 5/5 — Best resource ever

*2025-12-10, version 3.1.6*

Hey, I really enjoy studying on this app it helped me pass SPI, abdomen and VT.
I am now studying OB/GYN and I wish you hadn’t changed it. I liked when I was able to show explanation before answering the question. Please bring this feature back I really need it for studying OB.
Thank you!
