Terribly optimized for iPad, missing core features
I am really disappointed with the Prepware app on iPad. The programming feels very old-fashioned and lacks features that should be standard for test prep software, such as the ability to focus specifically on previously incorrect answers.
The formatting issues make studying very difficult. Text frequently gets cut off depending on how you hold the device. I find myself constantly switching between portrait and landscape modes just to read full questions because the app cannot dynamically scale text. I hope the developers push out a major update to fix these basic functionality and display bugs soon. When addressing that to the support, I didn‘t receive a follow up reply after their initial standard reply.

Definitely not 100% accurate
Now don’t get me wrong Prepware is one of my favorite apps when it’s comes to studying for writtens I use it for everything. Private pilot, airframe mechanic, powerplant mechanic, general written exam for mechanics, and now my instrument. So I’m very familiar with this app and it’s accuracy for writtens and usually it is spot on when it comes to question answers and wording but for my instrument rating airplane it was different. I studied hard on it taking quizzes and scoring 90’s so I said it’s time for the real written to be taken. I went I took it I failed and I was amazed how many questions I had never seen. So I beat myself up and studied harder and went back to take the written again and once again I saw questions I had never even seen before and got an even lower score after studying even more. So I did what I didn’t want to do cause I don’t care for the software and switched to Sheppard air and I have to admit almost 80%+ of the questions on there were worded entirely different and there’s 200+ more questions to study. So not only did prepware let me down with the wording of questions but it also doesn’t have the entire written question bank. All I ask from prepware is to make sure all their software is up to date and has all the questions the FAA has for each written.

Not good at all
The worst app , some question does not even have de figures and some of the figures has nothing to do with the question . I want my money back
Some figures are not loaded and some are wrong figures not belong to the question

Gleim is Better
Although this app has a positive side, which you don’t need internet to use. However, the sequence of the questions are always random and doesn’t keep your progress nor does it provide any reports of performance.
