I’ve used Prescriber’s Letter for close to 20 years for my pharmacology CE’s. I love the info and writing, but the app version is atrocious. It keeps popping up to request my log in, even though I’m logged in. It takes forever to go to the next article. If they expect providers to keep paying for use of this app, they will need to overhaul it completely. I’m going to look into using it on my computer instead.

I really enjoy the information available from Prescriber’s Letter, but the app is a nightmare to navigate. An annual subscription isn’t cheap—there’s no excuse for an app that constantly logs you out, asks you to enter your credentials and then stops you from continuing because you’ve already entered your credentials previously, makes you click through multiple screens to claim CME. I won’t be renewing my subscription this year. It’s just not worth the hassle.

I wasn’t very hopeful with the 1-star average for this app, but it was still surprising to see how truly awful this app is.  It shouldn’t even be available for download until it gets a major overhaul. Please, TRC, revisit this app so we can read and do CME on the go!

Really, really bad app. A long time ago, it worked well. But when they changed the app (maybe 2yrs ago ?) it has NEVER been right. Logging in every single time is ridiculous but then it just stays stuck on the login screen. If you’re lucky enough to get past that it will get stuck on another screen. So it’s really a waste of time to have it on your phone.

I have used Prescriber’s Letter for years because I could download and use it with or without internet or phone access. Appears this is no longer the case.  Now nearly useless to me. If not improved likely will not renew and find my education and cme elsewhere. They want me to call and they will walk me through how to use it. My issue is that now I have to enable wifi or cellular to even use it, difficult to navigate, no longer tap and go but tap and wait. Will likely be allowing it to expire and not renew.

Have to sign in EVERY time, it gets stuck on the sign in page, I have to accept cookies multiple times, hard to find past issues, navigating through the articles and quizzes is like navigating through a bad click-bait article, no confirmation email anymore when I complete a quiz (and yes, I submitted the course evaluation), the problems go on and on.  We pay money for this?!? It REALLY needs improvement.  The content of the articles is still fantastic!  The one star rating is purely for the horrible app functionality.
