Amateur hour devs ### 1/5 — Frustrating! *2024-02-02* At the first of the year company recently chose the magellan RX as our prescription provider. we previously had Optum RX. It’s only February 2 and I want to go back to Optum RX. I came to the review to see if I was the only one having issues and by all of the reviews I have read I see that I am not nor does the company read the reviews! The app is horrible. Calling in getting through to customer service is horrible. The website is horrible. All you get are system error, technical difficulties and please repeat. I’m calling in customer service. The recording says please hold after your phone call for a survey. Well I held on to take the survey and the customer service rep never hung up so that I could get to the survey. It was like we were teenagers, waiting for the other one to hang up. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-01-25, version 1.6.0* This app is useless in terms of performance and customer service. Pages don’t load, you cannot order refills or pay for them, nor can you transfer prescriptions. Totally horrible experience it's a shame our company switched to this sub standard farce. It’s super slow, doesn’t show my medicine list correctly, and I keep getting error messages telling me to “try again” over and over. Retry - and it says the same thing. ### 1/5 — Completely and totally unreliable *2023-12-14* This may be the slowest, most unresponsive, unreliable app I have used ever, in any context. This is a black mark on the face of MagellanRx as its uselessness as an app suggests that the entire company must function this way. Get some work done on this app, MagellanRx! This COULD be such a valuable tool! In the meantime, until something gets better, those of us who are tied to MagellanRx because of our insurer will continue to suffer its total lack of competency — or, even more likely — just never use it. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-12-04, version 1.6.0* I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it’s still not working. I get errors. What good is this app when you can’t do anything with it. Even when it was working it didn’t do what it claimed. I couldn’t check to see if meds were covered or what meds were needed n my plan. ### 1/5 — Worst App *2023-12-03, version 1.6.0* Not only does the app not work, you can’t login using the web either. This is the worst insurance I have ever dealt with, and I work with insurances every day. Receive the oops something went wrong message. I’ve reinstalled, no help. This has been happening for weeks. Don’t have an app if you can’t get it to work. When I attempt to excess the Magellanrx app. It tells me “EVERY” time something has gone wrong try again. I cannot access my account! I have never had this problem with any other application. Takes ages to load data. And has no functionality like refills. You can’t manage anything about your prescriptions through it. I have yet to have an experience where it didn’t throw a “something went wrong” error message. Then when by chance I’ve gotten the app to open, you can’t do take any action. Such as placing a recurring order. You’re better off not having an app at all! ### 1/5 — Terrible APP *2024-03-27* The app is terrible. I’ve used other mail service companies in the past for medication and they provide so much more information and give you so much more access to refilling, stopping, canceling, and checking your prescriptions. it would be nice if this app could tell you if your order is being processed, if your order is delayed, if your prescription has been denied, if your prescription is backordered, if you need prior authorization for a prescription, if you’re prescription ships and the tracking information. Then when I call the 800 number to ask questions they are just as clueless. I hope you improve this app and make it more user-friendly. If the app provided more information we wouldn’t have to call customer service and ask them. ### 1/5 — I just don’t understand *2024-03-21, version 1.6.2* This app is not working for people with Apple products. How do you have an app where you can’t login to use it as you need to? I saw a review dated 2 years ago and today I still scant login as I have been trying to login since last week. I can grant access to other family members to see my data without them having to request access. Each family member can manage access to their data. I like how the app differentiates between prior authorizations and claims, very clean. Unfortunately the app does not allow me to refill prescriptions.
