Track your physical presence in Canada for Permanent Residency (730 days) and Citizenship (1,095 days) — automatically, offline, with zero guesswork. Log every trip outside Canada and Presence Tracker instantly calculates your accumulated days against IRCC's rolling 5-year window, so you always know exactly where you stand. PresenceTracker is an independent app and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada. THE TWO REQUIREMENTS IT TRACKS • Permanent Residency: 730 days inside Canada in every rolling five-year period. Official source: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/new-immigrants/pr-card/understand-pr-status.html • Citizenship: 1,095 days of physical presence in the five years before you apply. Official source: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/eligibility.html YOUR FULL STATUS HISTORY Most calculators only count days. Presence Tracker also records how you held status — visitor, student, work permit, permanent resident — and applies IRCC's rules for you, including the half-day credit for time before you became a permanent resident, capped at 365 days. Any stretch with no status logged is flagged, so your total is never quietly wrong.
