## What is PresentMind?

PresentMind is a year-round gift planner. Keep every gift idea, the person it's for, the occasion it's for, and what you've spent, all in one private app.
TRACK GIFTS FROM IDEA TO GIVEN
Every gift moves through seven stages: Idea, Considering, Ordered, Purchased, Wrapped, Given, or Cancelled. Add a price, a link, a photo and notes. See your gifts as a list, a photo gallery, or a stage-by-stage board, and drag a gift onto a person, an event or a stage to move it.
PEOPLE, NOT JUST LISTS
Keep a profile for everyone you buy for: birthday, relationship, sizes, favourites and any custom field you need. Import people from Contacts. Favourite the ones you shop for most.
EVENTS AND BUDGETS
Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and custom occasions, each with its own budget and a checklist of who's covered. Birthday events are created and rolled over automatically from a person's profile. Recurring events create their next occurrence on their own. Bring in dates from your iOS Calendar and get reminders before each one.
STAY ON TOP OF IT
• Dashboard: what's next, how ready you are, and what still needs buying.
• Shopping List: everything left to buy, grouped by recipient, with one-tap mark as purchased.
• Insights: spending by person, by status and by month.
• Widgets for today's events and your next event, on the Home Screen and Lock Screen.
• Siri and Shortcuts: "Next Event", "Open Shopping List" and "Add Gift Idea".
• Share sheet: send a product page from Safari straight into PresentMind as a gift idea.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, synced across your iPhones. No account, no ads, no tracking. Nothing is sent to us. Deleted items go to a Recycle Bin you can restore from, and you can export a full backup at any time.
GIFT IDEAS WITH APPLE INTELLIGENCE
On iPhone 15 Pro and later with Apple Intelligence enabled, get on-device gift suggestions based on a person's interests, past gifts and upcoming events.
PRICING
PresentMind is free to use for 14 days. After that, a PresentMind Premium subscription unlocks full access: $4.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Without a subscription your data stays readable and exportable.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-02

Fixes an issue where AI gift suggestions could fail on iOS 27. Thanks for the reports.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-01

Gifts, your way
• Switch the Gifts tab between a list, a photo gallery, and a stage-by-stage board.
• Drag a gift onto a person, an event, a board column, or the Dashboard shopping card to assign, link, or move it.
• Gift cards show photos and pipeline progress at a glance; gift details get a hero image and an interactive stage track.
A glanceable Dashboard
• A "Next Up" card with countdown and gift-readiness ring, a status pipeline bar, and a strip of your recent gifts.
• Insights now uses charts: status breakdown, spending per person, and a 12-month spending trend.
Siri and Shortcuts
• "Next Event", "Open Shopping List", and "Add Gift Idea" App Shortcuts.
On iOS 27
• Swipe actions on gallery and board cards, and a "Think Deeper" option for AI gift suggestions.
Fixes
• Birthday events roll over to next year without losing last year's gifts, and never take over someone else's event.
• Yearly recurring events advance correctly; lapsed series catch up in one step.
• Deleting a person from the Dashboard or Insights now works and can be undone from the Recycle Bin.
• Backups: "Replace All" import is all-or-nothing, merges no longer drop links or custom fields, and files from a newer app version are refused instead of imported incompletely.
• Tapping an event on a person's page no longer crashes.
• Read-only mode after the trial is enforced consistently, including in the share extension.
