## What is Preservely?

Stop throwing away groceries you forgot you had.

The average U.S. family of four wastes about $1,500 of food a year. Preservely
keeps your pantry and refrigerator organized so you can see what needs to be
eaten soon — and cook it before it goes to waste.

LOG IT IN SECONDS
Add items as you shop, by hand or with a quick barcode scan. Preservely fills in
the details and suggests an expiry date, so a week of groceries takes a minute.

KNOW WHAT'S ABOUT TO GO
Everything is sorted by what needs eating first. Expiry reminders arrive before
food turns, not after — and you choose how far ahead you want the nudge.

COOK WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Get recipe ideas built around the ingredients closest to their date. Save the
ones you like, star your favorites, and get storage tips that help groceries
last longer in the first place.

WHAT'S FREE
• Track up to 25 items
• Expiry reminders
• Storage tips
• Works entirely on your device — no account needed

PRESERVELY PRO
• Barcode scanning
• Unlimited items

ABOUT ACCOUNTS
You don't need an account to use Preservely, and you don't need one to buy Pro.
Two Pro features run on our servers — the AI Pantry Assistant and multi-device
sync — so those need a free account. Everything else in Pro works without one.
You can delete your account, and everything stored with it, at any time from
inside the app: Settings › Delete Account.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-03

Preservely now knows how long your food lasts.

Start typing an item and you'll get suggestions with a shelf life already filled in — no more guessing what date to put. The category works itself out too, so most items take one line and a tap. It's free, and it covers 677 everyday foods.

Barcode scanning got sharper as well. Scanned products land in the right category far more often, and if one ever comes back wrong, fix it once — Preservely remembers that product for next time, on your device.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-01

No release notes.
