### 1/5 — Pay to play

*2026-08-05*

This game was built to grab money. Cannot even go 5 minutes without hitting a paywall. Tried to be very cheap and frugal and still couldn’t have money saved to complete a task. Complete money grab!!!!

**Developer response:** Sorry it made you feel this way.

The main problem was that several decisions had no affordable option at all, so being frugal didn't help. Every decision now has a free route. We're also cutting how often ads appear and reducing what it takes to skip a wait.

Please come back to the latest 1.1.0 version and give us your thoughts.

### 1/5 — Money Grab

*2026-07-30*

The in game issues force drain your money to the point where you have to purchase in game money to continue at all

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback!
The game is designed to be finished without purchases - the scarce budget is the central challenge, and tax and spending decisions early on determine how tight things get later. We hope you'll give it another term, a different fiscal strategy makes for a very different presidency.

### 1/5 — Pay wall

*2026-07-29*

I played for less than 5 minutes before I was met with the fact I have to pay x amount in order to play. If I don’t pay, I have to wait over 30 minutes to begin doing more tasks/actions. Deleted the game right after I was met with this…

**Developer response:** Hitting a wait timer in your first minutes is not the experience we want; We are working on the update that is extending the opening session so you can play well past that point before energy matters. The full game is completable without purchases (and you can skip the timer if you watch a rewarded ad for free), we'd be glad to have you back for a fair first impression!

### 1/5 — Has to be one of the most horrible and money grabbing games

*2026-07-28*

This game starts off alright, an occasional ad or two, then as you progress and you select your cabinet, with unrealistic costs of hiring your cabinet, you face a challenge of progressing through the story because you’ve wasted nearly half of your money on sending an aid package to states after a hurricane.

You then receive a screen stating that you have to wait roughly 30 minutes to play the game, unless you pay for a subscription?? Once that is done, not only did you waste 30 minutes of your time, but you have to pay $10 USD to purchase in game money to progress through the story.

Don’t bother playing this game. This game is a shame, and a literal waste of time and storage. These devs had nothing better to do but to attempt to make money off you. Absolute horrible development. Don’t bother.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback Tommy, and sorry the experience ended in frustration. To clarify for anyone reading: the game is fully completable without purchases. The budget is intentionally scarce - big commitments like a full cabinet or a major aid package have real trade-offs, and overextending early is what triggers the squeeze. We're improving a lot of mentioned things in an upcoming update. We'd welcome you back for another term!

### 1/5 — Good luck

Do not get this game

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2026-07-22*

Avoid this game, impossible to play this game without spending money. Basically made 2 decisions and I’ve deleted the game as I couldn’t go any further without paying.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! The game is designed to be finished without purchases - the scarce budget is the central challenge, and tax and spending decisions early on determine how tight things get later. We hope you'll give it another term, a different fiscal strategy makes for a very different presidency.

### 1/5 — Pay to Play.

*2026-07-09*

This game starts out fun, but it quickly becomes obvious that it’s designed to push you into spending money. Every major decision drains your cash, and before long you’re presented with objectives that cost billions while you only have millions. At that point, you can’t progress unless you wait an unreasonable amount of time or pay. It feels less like a strategy game where your decisions matter and more like a paywall disguised as gameplay. I don’t mind optional purchases, but the progression shouldn’t come to a complete stop because the economy is intentionally stacked against free players. There’s a solid game underneath, but the aggressive monetization ruins the experience. Until the balance is improved so free players can make steady progress, I can’t recommend it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! The game is designed to be finished without purchases - the scarce budget is the central challenge, and tax and spending decisions early on determine how tight things get later. We hope you'll give it another term, a different fiscal strategy makes for a very different presidency.

### 1/5 — AI Slop game

*2026-09-01*

The premise of this game is interesting. It genuinely would’ve been a fun game if it wasn’t a very obvious cash grab AI slop concoction. The amount of ads is insane. The cost of choices is insane. You’re hit with a couple decisions in the first chapter where no matter how you play the game or try to reduce your initial cost, you will never be able to afford. The game offers you very little opportunity to get ahead. You either choose to not spend a lot of money in order to save up for future expenses, just to get impeached for those choices, or spend money on stuff that matters just to run out by the next chapter. I literally got impeached with a 100% approval rating. It makes no sense. It’s all rigged up to try and get you to spend money on a game that likely took 12 hours to make in ChatGPT. This game sucks

### 1/5 — Boring game

*2026-08-30*

I’m not sure how you can call it a game really. All you do is pick 1 of 4 options (usually) and the options are spend money, more money, even more money or lose your job basically. Poorly built and riddled with advertisements every 2 minutes. No wonder they need ads, the only people paying for premiums on this game are bots and brainrots.

### 1/5 — Cash cow

*2026-08-29*

You play for 5 minutes and you either play to pay or wait half an hour per session.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-28*

Had 100 approval rating got impeached after winning the Cuba war and I spent like 20 dollars right before that happened

### 1/5 — Rigged

*2026-08-21*

No matter what they throw you out over the PFC fight. Even if you say NO it gets put in anyway. Then they kick you out. Rip off

**Developer response:** You were right, and thank you for reporting it clearly enough that we could find it!

When we expanded the story with the fight event, the "No" answer was recorded but never actually connected to what followed. The event went ahead regardless of what you chose. That was a bug, not a design decision, and it made the removal that followed feel arbitrary because it was.

It's fixed in the next update. Declining now genuinely cancels the event, and we've also added a warning when your approval enters the danger zone, so being removed is something you can see coming and act on rather than something that just happens.

Sorry for the run this cost you! Please update your app to see the changes.

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2026-08-20*

The game actually has the opportunity to be interesting, but I had a 100% public support rating, and I got impeached at month 7 because of hosting a boxing match on the house lawn… something I actually stated against and then it still went ahead from a house vote? It just kind of made no sense. And then the choices are the exact same on every replay so there’s no point in playing through again. Just kind of a waste of time.

**Developer response:** Dear Joseph,
Thank you, and sorry your run ended that way.

The fight is a real bug: when we expanded the story, the "No" answer was recorded but never connected to what followed. Fixed in the next update, declining now actually cancels it.

The impeachment wasn't sudden either, approval erodes across several decisions and a compounding deficit penalty, and nothing told you. The update warns you before it gets critical and names the cause. Every decision that required spending also has a free option.

On replays, the beats are fixed, but finishing a term now gives a real ending with a record of what your presidency did to the country, and that differs a lot by how you governed.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-19*

I just spent 20 dollars to get more money In the game. Then I get impeached for accepting a plane and now that money I spent is gone within 10 minutes.

**Developer response:** Sorry, that's a bad experience and I understand the frustration.

To be clear on the money: purchases are kept separately and aren't wiped when a run ends. But two things made it feel that way. Several decisions used to have no free option, so a balance could drain into choices you couldn't decline, and we've now added a no-cost route to every one of them. We also found and fixed a bug where some purchases were charged but never credited.

The plane didn't cause the impeachment either. Approval erodes across many decisions and a compounding deficit penalty, and nothing warned you. The next update warns you before it becomes critical and names what's driving it.

If you email us the receipt from your purchase we'll make it right: hello@moreclues.com

### 1/5 — Ads galore

*2026-08-19*

Trash game, you need money to pay otherwise you’ll have no choice but to watch or wait an hour.

Trash.

**Developer response:** Hi,
The game can be completed without any in-app purchases. We do use timers to break the chapters, but each timer is 30 minutes and could be skipped by watching rewarded ads.

These games take months to create, so spending a minute to watch a rewarded ad is a small, but valuable gesture for us! Sorry you had a bad experience!

### 1/5 — To many ads

*2026-08-12*

I could understand one ad per term but I just had to watch 3 for one term seems a little much to me

**Developer response:** Fair point, and we agree. Skipping a wait took three ads, which is more than it should be. We're reducing it, and cutting how often ads appear during play generally.

Thanks for flagging it.

### 1/5 — Do not pay for subscriptions

*2026-08-07*

There are WAY TOO many bugs in this game for them to offer a paid subscription. You’re just wasting your money.

**Developer response:** Hi,
If you encountered any bugs during the gameplay, please contact us at hello@moreclues.com.

### 5/5 — I love this game

*2026-08-24*

This is the first time I played a game like this, it gives you a few choices about how you’d run the country and the choice you make changes the story what happens, if you make the wrong choices it messes you up you have to try and stay popular. I love the design too so cool

### 2/5 — Fun Game But

*2026-08-28*

I’ve been impeached twice with a 100% approval rate after war with Cuba. It doesn’t make sense, how can I be impeached with 100% behind me??

### 2/5 — Trap you

*2026-08-19*

Starts off a good game but then comes the Mars mission which unless you’ve been very clever before it means you can’t move forward without paying any money

**Developer response:** You're right, and that was a design failure rather than an intention.

The Mars funding decisions had no option that cost nothing, so if you hadn't banked money earlier there was no way past them. Every one of them now has a free route, along with every other decision in the game that used to demand cash.

We're still rebalancing what skipping costs you, because falling behind shouldn't be unrecoverable either. Thanks for the review!

### 2/5 — Money Grab

*2026-08-16*

This game is good and I like it but you complete 5 minutes and you want us to buy stuff like why??

**Developer response:** Hi,
The game can be completed without any purchases, all the in-game purchases are optional.
