The App is ill conceived and reflects poorly on the reporting. The PPH product people need to take a fresh look at there customer experience , consider additional revenue opportunities leveraging otherwise good content, and offer a much better experience. ### 1/5 — Keep old apps *2026-06-24, version 1.4.0* Clicked on the new app and it brought to the sunjournal. It’s so disappointing to see an ostensibly non profit company flagrantly downgrade its product for their subscribers in this way. ### 2/5 — More ads = negative experience *2026-04-11, version 1.3.0* The most current “improved” update now includes a annoying banner ad at the top of each page. Although the page can be enlarged to read the articles without the ad, seeing ads within the body of the page is enough advertising for subscribers. I always read on line and have checked my options. No luck so far. Reopening yesterday’s paper prevents opening today’s.
