I really think it’s great and has a lot of potential. If you’re planning on playing professionally, this is a great way for scouts and coaches to see you play especially with the pandemic. The spectator count at my tournaments have declined to 2 spectators per team and I feel that I won’t get a chance to show what I can do. I found the Press Sports Instagram and soon after found the app and it has changed my life! I’ve the app for two days and my phone keeps blowing up (in a good way) with a ton of new people seeing it. It definitely an app you would want, I totally recommend it. ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2020-12-03, version 5.4* I just downloaded this app today and I'm already loving it! I play ultimate Frisbee for my school but there's not an option to select that sport. It would be awesome if you can change this because I'm trying to make ultimate frisbee more popular. I also wish the videos will load faster so I'm not waiting like 30 seconds just to watch the video. Other than that this app is amazing! My brother did not have an exposure outlet like Press Sports early in his High School years. He says it would have made a huge difference in many aspect. This app is easy to use because it is a familiar format like many other social media platforms. The gamechanger is that it is strictly for sports content, and you don't have to waste time filtering among memes and negative posts. it helps with exposure because many coaches also use the app and follow the athletes progress. The feature that I like the most is that it helps promote sportsmanship among my peers. The app gives us an incentive to engage and congratulate other hard working student athletes. Due the COVID-19 this platform has been more and more critical to getting exposure. It’s like TikTok but with sports. They started out with a couple bugs and glitches, but they have improved it so much. It’s very user friendly and easy to get the hang of. This app looks amazing from all of the ads I’ve seen. I decided I would like to try it out, however, I’m unable to create an account after I choose my ‘main sport.’ This app seems really exciting, but it cannot be accessed by anyone who just recently downloaded it. I noticed all other reviews starting on Sunday have noted this same problem. When this bug is fixed, I look forward to joining the community on this app! ### 2/5 — Could be better too many glitches *2023-06-09* I loved this app at first but the last week or 2 has been so glitchy! Hype points are being taken off my home page but are still on the Hype leaderboard. I keep fanning up people but they are not being added to my following feed. That feed is the same 20 videos even though I’m adding new favorites. I keep fanning a certain account and go back and it’s like I never fanned the page? Same w Hypes? Hype a video see it again and it’s like I never hyped it? What is going on? And I’ve messaged support about this days ago w no response. ### 2/5 — What’s Up with the Update/Change to the App *2022-09-06, version 6.0.3* I used to love this app for my daughter and her sport. But ever since they’ve done the update/change to be “better”, it hasn’t worked right for me at all. It won’t load or takes forever to, our videos aren’t seen, I can’t do some of the things I used to… it just seems to be a worse format for me or I’m really not understanding how it works anymore. Why? Can someone help? I really appreciated the app to market my daughters skills/talents but now I’m like 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ **Developer response:** Please try updating the app and let us know if this is still happening! ### 2/5 — Great app, lot of bugs *2022-06-20, version 5.8.5* I love the idea of this app and want to give it 5 stars but it is very hard to use. Sometimes one videos sound will keep playing over the sound of the next 3 videos, and doing anything is slow and laggy. Also videos don’t restart when you scroll up and down so if I want to rewatch the beginning of a video I have to watch it all the way through. If these bugs are fixed the app would be 5 stars hands down. I love the app but it is not very nice to use. **Developer response:** The mute issue has been fixed! A suggestion I have is having some sort of leaderboard or something like that based off how many views you get and the sport you play. The app also needs to get more users!!! I got like 10 friends to join but if you wanna get people recruited off this app the more people that see your post the more attention you get. So maybe invest into some sort of advertising. The app it’s self reminds you of most social media platforms and that’s ok for me. It’s a little buggy though. There is a few issues that can make the app annoying to use sometimes. There is a bug where the audio from the previous short video continues on into the next videos along with their own audios until you close the app and reopen. There is also a bug where the “hypzone” keeps on showing you the same videos that a saw earlier in the same order. These bugs are occasional, but a great app!!! ### 4/5 — Great, but there’s a bug with comments *2020-10-11, version 5.3* I’m loving the app so far, but when trying to support people sometimes, my comments won’t go onto the post. The app is not only a sports social media platform- it's a tool that really helped me be seen by other athletes whose support was phenomenal, but also gave me leaderboards and a video platform to share on other social media apps! This helped be taken seriously as a potential college athlete, and I am now committed to a college program!
