Doesn’t always download the latest edition.  2 or 3 times a week, I have to manually try to hunt through the app just to get the newest edition of the paper.  When reading articles, navigating them is difficult.  Trying to zoom in causes the article to show in its own window or assumes I want to turn the page.  Too difficult for a simple reader.

I strongly discourage getting this app. It is never up to date. Obituaries can be 3 days behind. Just not worth the frustration it causes.  Today is Tuesday. The obituaries on the app are from Sunday.

This website is very hard to maneuver.

It frequently will load the main page but when you try to navigate through articles, and especially the obituaries, you get a blank page. It just won't load. This is when you have a strong internet connection so it isn't that. The subscription is expensive and I would expect NO glitches as I try to get information from the paper via this app.

Unfortunately my local paper does not deliver on Saturdays.  This forces me to read the paper on this obnoxious app.  Two months ago the app did an update to “fix bugs”.  I guess my tablet is a bug because the app doesn’t work anymore.

So many ads! Doesn’t even seem like a newspaper, just a rolling dump of articles - many very old. Tried searching for features I used to enjoy like the comics and they were nowhere to be found. Ditto advice column and games. Total waste of time as it’s just like so many other on-line news sources I already read.

Came to say it is VERY sporadically better - and that is being generous.   Often can’t find info - including obituaries - for a couple of days after they’ve been public even though they have been google searchable and posted elsewhere that entire time.  They need to hire people to do their updates more frequently.  Ridiculous that a NEWS source doesn’t have up-to-date news. They probably won’t last much longer as an entity.

Does not allow easy access to other state papers while using an iPhone.  Previous print app was perfect.  No idea why this was discontinued.  If not fixed shortly as I told customer service, I will be cancelling my subscription.

If you want to read reports by some of newest journalistic talent in the Southern Tier you will want to read Press Connects.  Hannah Swartz if feisty and does not back down when covering County Government.  You will see her on the National level at some point perhaps sparring with Trump.  It is a quality read and you can get access anyway you are most comfortable and that includes you in-technology peeps who still want a paper version.

I grew up in the Binghamton area.  I delivered the Binghamton Press when it was an evening newspaper - the route was in my brother's name, I did half of the deliveries and most of the collecting.  (This was in the era where girls weren't "allowed" to have paper routes.). It's nice to be able to read what is happening in my "hometown" area.
