## What is Pressure?

Pressure is a weekly workout streak you keep with friends, built on accountability, so running and lifting become a habit. Workout partners, couples and whole groups use it as a challenge to keep each other going: every run and lift you record counts. Nobody wants to be the one who breaks it.

YOUR STREAK
Start a streak with a friend, a group of up to 12, or your club. The streak sets one target, 1 to 7 days a week, and everyone in it hits that number. Weeks run Monday to Sunday, so rest days are part of the plan. Recorded runs and gym sessions count on their own, or the streak can ask for photo proof. Every Monday the week is settled: the streak continues, or it breaks. Keep hitting your weeks together and you earn a Rest week, which covers one missed week. Your streaks have their own tab in the app.

YOUR FIRST WEEK
Start on any day. If everyone hits the target in the week you start, that week counts too, and you can watch the week add up from day one.

REMINDERS
Still short this week? On Saturday you get a heads-up if the week is at risk. In a group you see how many are in this week.

GROUP CHAT
Each streak has its own chat in the app, where proof photos land. Add runbot, our iMessage bot, to your group chat and every run and workout is posted there when you finish, so your friends follow along even without the app.

RUN
Record your runs with GPS. Watch your route draw on the map in real time, with pace, distance, time, elevation, and heart rate as you go. After the run, review the full map, your splits, and how the effort compares to your past runs. Workouts from Apple Health show up automatically, so your history stays in one place.

GYM
Log every set, rep, and weight with a fast tracker and a built-in rest timer. Each exercise has a clear illustration and demo so you know the movement. When you finish, the muscle-map view lights up every muscle you trained, shaded by how hard you worked it. Pressure tracks your personal records and your 1RM over time, and you can save your go-to sessions as routines.

CLUBS AND FRIENDS
Join a club and see where you stand. Weekly and all-time leaderboards rank your miles and your volume against your friends. Follow people, react to their workouts, and leave a comment. Your profile shows your year and your full history.

DIAMOND
Every streak you keep with friends, its Rest week, its chat, and runbot in as many group chats as you like are free for everyone. Diamond, the optional membership, adds deeper training tools such as route generation and race plans.

YOUR DATA
Pressure reads your workouts from Apple Health and keeps your training in one place. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps.

Run or lift, every workout counts, and your friends keep the pressure on.

### 5/5 — Great Fitness App!

*2026-09-27*

Been using this app to track my workouts, since I wanna see the progress I make and track all my workouts! This app has been so useful and I would highly recommend this app. Also fun to use with friends as well.

### 5/5 — best in the game

*2026-08-09*

such an efficient fitness tracker. there’s a streak feature you can use with friends and it’s one of my biggest motivators for staying consistent w the gym since i can stay accountable with friends. besides just tracking my routine there’s a bunch of stats that fyt tracks too. super cool app and a great addition to keeping up w my health

### 5/5 — Perfect fitness app

*2026-07-31*

I’m training for the air force IFT with strict fitness and cardio requirements. Fyt was able to break down the requirements into workout and running schedules for me. My mile time already improved by 3 minutes along with my strength. But the best part is the community. It feels good to show off your progress, meet new people with the same goals, and motivate each other. What seems like a simple fitness app changed my workouts into a lifestyle!

### 5/5 — 11/10

*2026-07-17*

Such a good app for both the gym and running. I use it to track my lifts and make sure I progressively overload and for running as well. Has loads of features and is constantly adding stuff as well. The next thing it needs is a strong community and it’ll be even more than just an app. Love the picture and streak feature that was just added.

### 5/5 — convenient fitness app tracker

*2026-07-16*

the most convenient fitness app tracker i’ve tried. i like to log my runs and gym sessions to track my stats and keep a streak. my fav feature is adding fyt runbot to my run gc on imsg so me and my friends automatically get notifs every time we log a run. super cool and motivating i never seen anything like it

### 5/5 — Best fitness app!

*2026-07-14*

Highly recommend to anyone who is into running and/or gymming. Better than strava and any other fitness app out there.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-07

Fyt is now Pressure.

- The weekly streak with friends is now the center of the app. Pick how many days a week, bring one friend or your whole group, and every run and lift you record counts.
- Your streaks now have their own tab, with every streak you are in and how this week is going.
- Rest week: keep hitting your weeks together to earn one, and it covers one missed week.
- A new teal look across the app.

### 1.0.45 — 2026-09-30

Gym logging:
- A settings gear replaces the timer in the logger and opens Workout settings.
- Muscle splits count timed holds and carries (planks, hangs, loaded walks) as working sets, and secondary muscles as half a set, so abs, forearms and rear delts show up where they belong.
- Workout cards show every muscle in the split and name each one, matching the workout page.
- Reps-only exercises keep a normal-size reps box, and recording cardio no longer shows empty column headers.
- The button that loads a routine into your workout is now called Routines.
- Selected exercises in the exercise picker show a green check.

Custom exercises:
- Add secondary muscles when you create or edit a custom exercise.
- Your custom exercise photos can be seen by people who can see your workouts and routines. Turn this off for any photo with "Show this photo to others" in the exercise editor.
- Report someone else's custom exercise photo with a long press.

Runs:
- A run's achievements are its own personal records for the mile, 5K, 10K, half and marathon, shown like your gym records.
- Walks and other cardio that only show a time no longer get a dark band over the card.

Friends and profiles:
- Follow and Join buttons are easier to spot.
- Activity cards on your profile and other people's profiles line up like Home.
- Last 90 Days counts runs and distance from the same 90 days.
- Your photo wall can be collapsed while it's empty.
- "with" lines on cards show a friend icon, and the Props list looks the same for runs and gym workouts.

Also in this update:
- The exercise history chart no longer draws the latest date twice.
- Home's Your Week and your profile sections use one clean, edge-to-edge style.
- Double days no longer count a cardio-only gym session.

### 1.0.44 — 2026-09-30

Fixes a crash that could keep closing the app while you logged a gym workout on iOS 17 or 18.

Custom exercises:
- Choose how a custom exercise is tracked: weight & reps, reps (with optional added weight), time, or distance & time.
- Add your own photo from the camera or your library. Your photo is private to you.
- Exercises without artwork lead with their name instead of a placeholder icon, in the logger, library, routines and feed.
- The logger only shows the fields an exercise uses: no empty weight box for bodyweight moves and no reps for cardio.
- Custom exercises open straight to Summary and History, without an empty demo video.
- Every custom exercise now has a muscle group you pick when you create it.

Gym logging:
- Redesigned exercise pages: progress, records, history and instructions on one page, plus a cleaner library and picker whose search finds nicknames and typos ("rdl").
- Gym cards show the top muscles you worked, in the same reds as the workout page.
- Exercise pages list your records without medals.
- Gym cardio shows the distance and time you recorded instead of sets and reps, and no longer asks you to pick a set type.
- Quick record a workout for a past day and a time you choose.
- Treadmill runs, outdoor runs and walks, and elliptical workouts show their exercise demo.
- The rest timer is now off by default. Turn it on in Workout settings and pick one duration for the whole workout.
- The stopwatch is upgraded: pause, resume, reset and laps, and it keeps running if the app is closed during a workout.
- Tapping a set's weight or reps selects the whole value, so typing replaces it; tap again to change a single digit.
- The Live Activity follows your edits in the app, shows a green checkmark for logging the next set, and tapping it opens your workout.
- Edit any finished workout: add, remove and swap exercises, add and remove sets, move sets between exercises, and change weight, reps, set type and notes, or the time and distance of cardio. Edits are checked before saving, and you're asked before unsaved changes are lost.

Routines:
- Redesigned routines pages: find your routines faster, start a workout in one tap, and edit, duplicate, share and save routines and programs with clearer steps.
- Filter programs and routines by level, goal and equipment, and add cardio to a routine.

Friends and streaks:
- Fyt now shows automatically when you worked out or ran with a friend. Either of you can remove it, and you can turn it off with "Show when I work out with friends" in Settings.
- Streaks: send and accept invites for pair, group and club streaks, see who you're waiting on, and follow progress on clearer streak pages. Pending invites now show on Home with Accept and Decline.
- New streaks count your recorded runs and gym workouts by default. The creator can still require photo proof.
- Tapping a notification opens the right screen: props open the workout, and comments and mentions open the comments.
- Tapping a name or photo on a Home card opens that profile, and profiles open on top of what you're viewing.
- The run club leaderboard now matches the gym leaderboard, and run achievements use the gym's trophy medals.

Also in this update:
- Photos show more of the picture: cards and galleries keep each photo's shape instead of a tight crop.
- A new look: sections sit on clean cards with fine dividers, and add buttons are white instead of gold.
- Top bar buttons stay easy to see over bright photos and maps.
- Tapping the weekly miles widget opens Home.
- Smoother run flyovers that use the same map style as the Maps page.
- All on/off switches use one green style, and discard sheets put Keep first.
- Kilogram weights read correctly, and charts, pace, elevation and volume round the same way.
- The workout clock, heart rate zones and pace now agree on your phone, your Watch and the Live Activity.
